Tsukino POV

"Huh! You're sending 3 Hashiras for one mission! I would rather stay home!" I pouted

Oyakata wanted me, Shinobu and Giyu to go to this mountain that a lot of lower level demon slayers had been sent to.

"I can't watch anymore of my children being killed over there" He stated

"Eh, but Shinobu and Giyu should be enough-

"Stop questioning Oyakata-sama. He has his reasons" Giyu interrupted me

I sighed

"ara ara you're that discouraged from being away from Kanao's snacks for a few days" Shinobu smirked

"Let's just get going" I frowned

"Before you go I will tell you I just sent three new demon slayers there, Tanjiro, Zeintsu, and Inosuke"

Wait, wait, wait? Did he just say Tanjiro?!! This is perfect then! I can kill him and gain immortality! I even have the perfect excuse being he was killed by demons before I could get to him! This has turned out to be the best day I've had since getting here

"Tsu?" Shinobu called out my name

"Oh. Sorry" I responded

"Giyu already left. We should get going" she stated

"Right" I sighed

Shinobu POV

I really like Tsukino. At first it was just an interest in her abilities then it because an interest in her past and now it's an interest in her person. She's such an odd person.

When she first told me she used to be a guy I didn't believe her, but she would always ask me questions on how to use the bathroom or what kind of underwear should she wear, it slowly made sense. I don't care who Tsukino used to be in her past life... in my eyes Tsukino is Tsukino and that's all that matters to me.

Her bright smile brought a light into my world that I hadn't been able to see for years. She has become a necessity for me, so when she asked me if I would care if she suddenly disappeared from world I had to hide my true feelings so I told her a lie

"I would be sad probably" I responded flatly

I could see the hurt in her bright red eyes as she pulled ahead of me and ran through the trees at a speed I couldn't catch up to her

"Wait! Tsukino!" I shouted to her but I heard no answer back

Shinobu POV

I messed up. In her eyes it almost feels like I told her I wouldn't care much if she died. Why can't I just be honest with my feelings. In the past months training with Tsukino, eating with her and working with her I've felt more alive then I ever have. I have to catch up with her. I'll tell her how I really feel.

On my way to her I passed a group of spider demons who were about to kill this yellow haired boy. I stopped to fight them. I jumped on top of the rock they had surrounded him on.

"I'm in a really bad mood right now... so don't get it my way!" I spat with venom

I jumped down and cut a spider demons neck to my left and then to the right. I had begun to the rest of them until I saw a white haired stronger one come out and I took the chance to kill them too

"Butterfly Dance, Caprice!"

I jumped into the air and slashed them multiple times killing them with poison.

"Tsu, what are you doing right now" I questioned looking up towards the moon

Tsukino POV

Gaining immortality would make me a Godess and I wouldn't be in her world anymore so I thought I would ask her how she would feel about me leaving her, but she doesn't even care?! All this time I thought Shinobu was a close friend of mine, but at the end of the day  she just used me for my power.
