" Try your hand at a legend.
Perhaps the library that stores the knowledge of the universe itself will find worthiness in your soul. "
(A story of a boy who knows far too much than one should, and how he tries to adjust to an ordinary life.
catch...
"Don't pout, starshine-" "-I've told you to not call me such a degrading name-" "hush. Let me explain."
Wyvern rolled his eyes, attempting to reach over for a hard covered book, before his hands were lightly slapped back, he glared at the woman, who only chuckled, and leaned to her side, crossing her arms.
"My job isn't simply sorting and storing information in this dusty, and old library" one of the wooden planks lightly bumped up, causing her to lightly stumble, she grumbled, "it was a joke old pal."
Wyvern huffed, resisting the urge to comment about their equal ages, gesturing for her to go on, she cleared her throat, doing a slight fling with her hand, raising up a transparent figure of a medium sized book, "I also collect data that the universe finds trouble seeking out."
He raised his browns, eyes squinting at the holographic book, "That sounds impossible."
She nods "It should be, but there are times when it happens, and when it does, beings like us are the one who needs to go and collect it."
She moves her glance to him and smiles "and as you are finally moving out of your growth phase for a star, you will finally be joining me in collecting them"
Wyvern almost chokes, and he wishes that he did, maybe by some miracle he'd die. "Pardon me?"
Catarina laughs, "And that's why I'm sending you there, " she does a jazz with her hands as if this was something to be celebrated, "for social literacy training!"
"It sounds as if this is your way of telling me to go outside more often.. " Wyvern muttered, completely unsatisfied on where this conversation was leading
Catarina hummed and nods "Partly? Yeah! You only come out of this library once every era. And you come back in a matter of minutes" She shakes her head in a disaproving manner, "That's pretty bad for you"
Wyvern grumbles under his breath, and rests his head on his palm"Whatever... When do I leave"
"You'll depart tomorrow"she smiles
"Tomorrow?!"

"This kind of feels like your kicking me out. " Wyvern dully comments, holding two suitcases in his hands, as he states at the library door, exasperated.
Catarina sighs behind him, "I'd join you if could, your a lot of trouble"
"Hey-"
Wyvern stiffs, as two arms wrapped around him, in some kind of motherly way. Catarina pats his head, and chuckles, "I'll miss you squirt."
"I won't be gone for too long.. " he mutters, facing away, she chuckles
"But keep in contact anyways. Yeah?"
He nods, "Always."
The libraries lights flicker rapidly yet faintly above them, and Wyvern chuckles, "I'll be back soon," he turns to the woman, "Take care, alright?"
She nods and smiles, "Yeah, I could say the same to you"
He turns around, and he gently holds the handle, turning it, making a click. He takes a deep breath, and takes one last glance behind him.
Catarina smiles, and the lights burn brighter.
Not goodbye. Never goodbye.
And softly, he smiles, and he pushes the door forward
The noise behind him gets farther, and a loud buzzing surrounds his ear, he faintly hears the library bell ring, in a total of seven times.
He drags his suitcases along with him, and the smell of burning firewood, and warm nights, the creak of the floorboards, the yellow lighting of the sultry walls, disappear.

And he hears the loud noises, of steps and voices, he hears trains, and digital audios, the floor turns to stern concrete, and the smell of a dozen burns into his nostrils, he softly breathes, as he states above him.
Buildings long, and futuristic, there are billboards, displaying different images and videos, there are roads that are lifted into the air, and more people than he'd ever imagine walking through the streets, cars different sizes and designs, flowing through the roads, lights blinding his vision.
A small breath leaves him, 'humanity has changed' he looks around further more 'changed faster than I ever thought it could'

"Welcome to Embassy Hotel, what may I do for you today, sir?"
The woman had brown hair neatly tied into a bun, black round eyes, and a slim figure. She had stared him up and down as if assessing his identity, and smiled before welcoming him.
