Chapter 5: The Objection

⠀⠀⠀Practice was over at the pool, my group and I changed into our clothes and exited.
⠀⠀⠀"Let's go, Rei." Haruka-senpai commanded.
⠀⠀⠀"Go without me, i'll catch up." I said with a smile. He nodded and walked off, along with the others.
⠀⠀⠀Oh no... He saw me...
⠀⠀⠀"Rei, you weren't at the forest. Is practice more important to you...?" I glared at him a bit.
⠀⠀⠀"You just gave up on me, did you...?" I held in my tears and ran off to the others. I noticed he was confused... How could he not remember...
⠀⠀⠀Later that day, I walked to the balcony. I looked up at the orange sky as the sun was going down. I sighed, for the sunset looked too romantic to be seen right now.
⠀⠀⠀"I just wish that I had a love that would love me forever..." I whispered. Someone came onto the balcony.
⠀⠀⠀"What are you doing out here, Rei...?" I turned around to see who it was. Sousuke-san?!
⠀⠀⠀"The question is, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at your practice right now?"
⠀⠀⠀"Rei..." He walked up to me. I tried pushing him away... But he grabbed my wrists, my arms were raised up, and set his lips on mine. My eyes widened.
⠀⠀⠀'Why would he do that...?' I thought to myself. I kissed him back. Right there, behind him... Someone was peeking at us. I pulled away and opened the curtains.
⠀⠀⠀"Nagisa-k-kun?!"
⠀⠀⠀"I knew it! You guys are secretly together, right?!" He had a sort of evil look on his face. Sousuke-san glared at the blonde.
⠀⠀⠀"You know it is forbidden to be with the enemy, Rei-chan..."
⠀⠀⠀"P-Please don't tell Makoto-senpai, Nagisa-kun!"
⠀⠀⠀"And Rei-chan,"
⠀⠀⠀"Wh-What?"
⠀⠀⠀"I made Gou-chan flirt with that love of yours." My eyes widened.
⠀⠀⠀"Wh-Why would you do that?!" I was furious with him, how could he do this?! This is outrageous!
⠀⠀⠀"Because I am an Iwatobian, Mako-chan has to be happy, and you can't be with the enemy." I clenched my fists at his response. I then calmed down and looked at Sousuke-san, tears falling from my eyes from all that rage. I hugged him and he held me close, trying to calm me down. Both groups came, He and I didn't care anymore.
⠀⠀⠀"R-Rei!" Makoto-senpai exclaimed. He took me out of Sousuke-san's arms, glaring intensely at him.
⠀⠀⠀"Sousuke?! When was all this?!" Rin-san grabbed his arm, leaving the Iwatobian territory along with the other Samezukians.
⠀⠀⠀"Rei..." Haruka-senpai called seriously.
⠀⠀⠀"You are forbidden from seeing him. I'm sorry." My tears fell faster, for I was upset.
⠀⠀⠀'I'll never get to see him again...'
⠀⠀⠀We were getting ready for the wedding. I took a deep breath for I was nervous. But Sousuke-san remained in my head, I can just feel that he's thinking about me too.
⠀⠀⠀Despite cross-dressing, I was wearing a long white dress, i was embarrassed by it. They wanted me to look "beautiful."
⠀⠀⠀They opened the gates, I saw Makoto-senpai right down the isle, wearing a white tuxedo. I blushed for i was still embarrassed by cross-dressing. Luckily, this veil gave an illusion that my hair was a bit longer (lol). I slowly walked down the isle, seeing about hundreds of people there, I could also tell that Makoto-senpai was amazed to see me so beautiful, but so wrong.
As soon as I got to him, the priest began talking.
⠀⠀⠀Makoto-Senpai responded to the last question,
⠀⠀⠀"I do."
⠀⠀⠀I didn't know what to say, before i began to speak, someone objected.
⠀⠀⠀"I object this marriage!" They said as they entered. My eyes widened at them. I whispered...
