Deeper - Jake X Wolf

So, like I said last chapter, I had two unrelated ideas for this fanart and couldn't decide which one I liked more so I decided to publish them both! This one's a bit shorter but it's really sweet so idk 🤣.

Wolf pulled out with a groan, Jake making no attempt to stop a whine from escaping his lips. The two kissed one more time, passionately and with desire, as if one hadn't just railed the other until they both forgot their own names.

Wolf, with his ever-loving desire to mark the boy below him, left one last hickey on his collarbone, before finally getting off of Jake. He pulled on his black jeans and sat on the edge of the bed, shirtless and holding a cigarette between his two fingers.

He shoved his glasses on, breathless but trying to control it, before finally inhaling the smoke that he knew was bad for him but fuck it, who cares?

Jake was absolutely wrecked, meanwhile. He lay flat on his back, his arms and legs still spread like a starfish, trying to catch his breath. His eyes were wide and he couldn't believe Wolf had just gotten up like that, so casually, and turned his back.

"Jesus Christ, W-Wolf," he finally said, trying to stop the giddy laugh that was spilling out of his mouth but failing. Wolf turned, an amused glint in his eye as he used every cell in his body to control the urge to smile fondly. Jake really was adorable, but...he promised that this wasn't an attached relationship.

It was sexual, nothing more. The feelings they had for each other were pure physical attraction, they must've been...

"What is it?" he asked. Jake sat up.

"Usually, I top...I was excited when you said you wanted to try it but...fuck," he finished, having no clue how to convey his message. Wolf literally had to bite his tongue so hard he was surprised it didn't fall off to not start whispering sweet nothings to his lover...well shit, no, he's not my lover, Wolf thought.

"Are you saying it didn't feel good, then?" the purple haired male asked, rolling his eyes, his voice dripping with annoyance. Jake couldn't stop the tiny flinch that ran through his body at Wolf's tone. He snapped out of his daze, desperately trying to put on a serious facade before continuing.

"N-No...it was great, I uh...yeah." Feeling more embarrassed by the second, Jake pulled the blanket up to cover his chest with one hand, the other still on the mattress for support.

This time, Wolf couldn't hold back the smirk that made it's way to his face, his gray eyes glinting.

"That's what I like to hear," he replied sinfully, pulling his shirt on and leaving Jake's room.

Jake sighed, unable to hold in his sadness any longer, and deeming it safe to do so now that Wolf had left.

"No, Wolf...you don't understand. It goes deeper than that. So much deeper..."

Jake sighed and tugged his clothes on, feeling sore but also so content, empty and yet so full.

He was ready to just take a nap and call it a day, but then he glanced out his window. The clouds were dark gray, and he could hear the rumbling of thunder. Jake got worried. He knew Wolf had walked here, and Wolf hated water and getting wet. It was really cute, since usually wolves are great swimmers.

Jake also knew that Wolf wouldn't have brought an umbrella because he didn't care enough, and he was kind of scatter brained.

Shit...I don't want to run when I'm this sore...fuck he did a good job...but I can't just leave him like that...

Jake POV

I dashed down the stairs and threw on a coat, fingers fumbling with my umbrella as I flew out the door. Wolf was only a little ahead, pushing his keys and phone into his pocket; he must've spent a few minutes looking for them.

"Wolf-" I began but I cut myself off, knowing he couldn't hear me, and instead put on a burst of speed to catch up to him. When I got close, I skidded to a halt and put my hand on his shoulder, covering us both with the umbrella. I smiled down at him.

Wiping his glasses at lightning speed and shoving them back on, Wolf looked confused to see me. He was also blushing, but I tried not to think about that. The last thing I needed was for me to get turned on literal MINUTES after Wolf had destroyed me.

"What are you doing?" he asked, turning and wrapping his arms around my neck. I guess it was more instinctive than anything else. I pulled him closer, pressing his head into my neck, and whispered in his ear.

"I couldn't just let you go home in the rain," I replied. Wolf stayed for a few moments in our position, leaning against my chest.

Wolf POV

His body and his demeanor...they both radiated so much warmth...I wanted to melt into his embrace, I craved it so much.

For a moment, I wished we could stay like this forever, Jake's hand on the back of my neck holding me in place while I just hugged him.

"You didn't have to do that," I finally stated. My voice was slightly muffled since I was pressing my cheek against his collarbone. Jake shook his head, now rubbing my matted locks gently, the water that'd been soaked in them running down his fingers.

"No, I couldn't. I know you said this relationship is purely sexual but...no, Wolf. It's so much deeper, don't you see? I want you to be happy," he said, cupping my cheek with his free hand now as he pulled away. My arms dropped to my sides as I looked at him.

I thought...I thought we were just doing this for the sex. But then again, why do we keep coming back to each other if we don't...want more?

Jake's eyes bored into mine, but they were filled with love. Real love, not a love for my body (though I could guess he loved that, too).

And I found myself wanting to fall deeper into his gaze.

The rain was pouring so hard now that I couldn't hear my own breathing.

But when Jake smiled and laced our fingers together and led us to my house, I knew that he loved me.
