On November 25th, early in the morning, Andrea Marie Adams came into the world. Well, if anyone truly cared, her little brother Carter came around three years later, so it's not like she mattered. The baby is what matters. He is the most innocent in every way. Carter broke a vase, but it was her fault for not watching him. He called her a bitch, but since she called him a dick, she ended up apologizing.
But she can't say it was any better before he was born. Even beforehand, her older sister was always ahead. Andrea just learned to play an instrument, but Brooke knows how to play three. Andrea got straight A's, but her sister got the same grades along with honors and AP classes. She was never the daughter to be proud of.
But once she got into high school, she didn't care too much about their validation. She just wished her parents would stop arguing every other night. The only good thing she got from those days were new insults to use at school.
Speaking of school, it wasn't anything great either. Yes, she was always in the popular crowd, known as the best friend to Chrissy. Some people would die for that role, but she just found it depressing. It wasn't bad, but damn, some days she felt like shit. I mean, would you be happy if all your worth was pinned to another person? It's always been like this since the sandbox in preschool. But she's finally accepted it, or so she claims.
If people are going to only see you a certain way, then there's no point in trying to be something else. But what if there was someone who didn't see her the way everyone else did?
