MYSTERIOUS MURDER CASES
Mangled extremities have been appearing all over New Ninjago City. There have been no suspects labelled so far, and police report that the only evidence that has been reported by the Ninjago City Police Department is a white cloth signed with the initials "A.S" which has appeared next to every crime scene so far.
Lloyd chucked down the local newspaper in frustration. This case had been on his mind for weeks now and yet he had made no progress, apart from finding the same stained cloth each time. I'm going to need help with this, he thought, standing up and walking towards the telephone in his office
He dialed the numbers that he had memorized in his head and waited while the phone rang.
After a few seconds, the ringing stopped and a different yet familiar voice filled the room.
"Hello? Ninjago City Detective Department speaking here, how can I help?"
Lloyd grinned whilst he answered.
"Hey, this is also technically NCDD speaking-"
"Lloyd? Is that you?"
"Yep, I need your help on-"
"Funnily enough I already know what you're calling me for, heck I was about to call you. I can't find a single detail on this criminal,"
"Yeah, the Police Department are stumped. I guess it's just up to you and me now, like the old times," He waited for a reply, smiling at the memories they shared of their past selves stopping crime together. They had worked up quite a name in the city, due to the record breaking amount of crimes they had stopped.
Ever since Sensei Wu was lost due to the Time Twins, the ninja had separated from each other temporarily to recover from their losses and recuperate. Lloyd and Kai didn't know what to do with themselves therefore decided to find a part time job with the NCDD to keep on helping the city.
"Meet me in Chen's Noodle House, at three thirty. See you soon,"
"Bye" he hung up and gathered up the suitable equipment for the investigation. He had just little under twenty minutes to get there and so he grabbed his coat, locked up his office and headed down town.
