"SOOBIN!!!" Yeonjun shrieked as he threw his body towards the other. He bent down slightly as he fell, latching his arms tightly around the others waist as he shoved him over. It's all he could think to do in the moment. Soobin was already swinging but from the sudden contact it caused him to just barely miss Taehyun. Soobins own eyes widened as his body fell to the ground with Yeonjun on top of him. He didn't even have words to say at that point, he was just shocked to see Yeonjun there.
Yeonjun fell with him. His eyes were still closed and he scraped his right knee but over all his fall was broken thanks to Soobin. Soobin didn't even feel any pain, he should but his heart was moving to fast. So much so it made the world around him felt still. Everything just happened so fast, he really lost sight of who he was for a moment. But then there was this boy who was now sitting in front of him, bringing who he knew him to be back to himself. Even it was caused by the rough shove that he knew he deserved.
Taehyun had goosebumps as the thin hairs on his arms spiked up. He felt shivers going down his spine. He was still in shock from the whole even but he was thankful he didn't get hit. He watched the twos intimate scene for awhile, it looked like time has stopped around the boys who were just gazing at each other. Their mouths slightly parted. Taehyun noticed that the two seemed to be in a trance so he figured now was his best and only chance to get out of it. He waddled slowly to the side, taking the opportunity to slip away. He didn't want to stay to find out what would happen if he didn't leave. Once he was around the corner and out of sight he took off running. He didn't want to go back to work, he needed to be safely inside the comfort of his own home. There was to much drama that seemed to follow him so he knew his boss would understand why he left he if texted him the reasoning later.
Yeonjun sat on his knees with his legs bent. It stung, and he could feel the slight blood appearing on his scratched knee. He was sad, he ripped his favorite pair of jeans. His face wore nothing but a pout though he was quiet. He didn't quite know what to say yet due to the fact he was reliving the event in his head.
Soobin let out a deep breath that was full of annoyance. Though he was thankful for the other to stop him from doing something he would later regret, he was still hurt and couldn't forgive him for it. Soobin stood up and brushed the dust off his own jeans. He stood tall, and looked to the boy who stayed seated in the ground. He just stood there, watching, not saying a word and not offering his hand to help him up.
Yeonjun could feel the sharp piercing glare weighing over his shoulders. Suddenly his knee didn't hurt as much, instead the pain moved to his chest where his heart sat. Soobin has given him nasty looks before but nothing like this. This felt raw, this felt real, like there was true hatred in his eyes.
What did that mean for their relationship?
He gulped as his own eyes wondered up to Soobin. The dullness's in them were back. For a moment he looked happy with life, but Yeonjun knew he just ruined that. "Soobin?" He spoke his name, as if he were asking for permission to speak. In return Soobin closed his eyes for a split second and looked his head away. Fuck Yeonjun felt his heart breaking even more. This was the worst rejection he's ever felt. It was like someone ripped his heart out and tore it in half right in front of his eyes.
There was no words spoken between them yet Yeonjun heard everything the boy wanted to say by that simple look.
He gulped harder, in order to force his growing tears down. He rose to his feet and stood in front of Soobim. He knew he wouldn't look his way but he still talked. He knew it would have been better if he didn't say anything, however his mind and tongue were not cooperating with each other. Maybe it was due to the panic he felt, or the sadness that overwhelmed him. Maybe it was because he could feel the pain and suffering Soobim was currently in. It was a bad misunderstanding and Yeonjun felt the need to try and clear it up. Even if the other wouldn't believe him.
