"Ha?!" I squeals, bigla din akong namutla, "repeat it." I say.

He smile fondly, "I said, What if tayo nalang kaya," he repeats and my jaw dropped. "Pagod na kasi akong umupo," he added.

I blush in embarrassment, but napansin niya 'yon so I cleared my throat, "Kakaupo mo palang, gusto mo na agad umalis." I rolled my eyes, "and it's raining outside." I say emotionlessly.

We look at each other but I quickly break the eye contact and glance back to the window. Marami din mga babae na nakatitig kay Enzo, 'yung iba ang sama pa ng tingin sa'kin.

"I saw you shouting in my dreams yesterday."

My face turned up into confusion, "Really? Dreaming of me?" I asked, didn't spare him a glance.

"Nightmare, actually." he grumbled.

I scoffed, I look away from the window to give my attention to Enzo then I caught him staring at me, "What?"

"Shh.. You're too loud, we're in a library." he shakes his head. He folded his arms over his chest, his eyes still on me.

Is there something in my face? Patago 'kong nilabas ang phone ko, wala namang dumi sa mukha ko as I look sa reflection ng phone ko. What's with him this time.

"May payong ka?" I snapped out of my thoughts as he started to spoke.

"I have, kaya lang isang tao lang ang kasya kaya maghanap ka nalang ng ibang kasabay." I spoke with high professionalism.

"Who says na wala akong dala? I'm asking you kasi akala ko wala kang dala, share sana tayo." he replied with a playful glare.

I just rolled my eyes again, nang hindi ako nagsalita bigla siyang huminga ng malalim. "Look, I know you're mad at me, and i'm sorry for disappearing," He smiled sadly.

"Honestly Athena, I know you like me and that's the reason why I never showed up." Dagdag niya but hindi ko na ikinagulat 'yon.  "You know i'm lying if i told you that I like you too." He spoke the last part carefully.

I deepened my frown, "But you lied about being a gay," I shook my head and took a deep breaths. He could just tell me but he chose to lie.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I don't want to hurt you," He sincerely said, "I don't want relationship. I'm not into that stuff. Mas okay pa na magkaibigan lang tayo, tatagal 'yon."

Why is he telling this to me now?

I shot my eyes as I cringed, "Ayoko nga, marami na 'kong friends 'wag mo na dagdagan."

"Then, I could be your older brother." He chuckled lightly.

I opened my eyes and say, "I don't want you to be my brother too."

"Sorry, i'm only interested in friendship. I see you as a friend but hey, thank you for liking me." He bit his lip and I look at him with a bit of hurt in my eyes.

He continue, nevertheless. "Ang hirap humanap ng totoong kaibigan but i'm lucky to have you as my friend." Bigla niyang hinawakan ang left hand ko.

What about Zidein? He's treating other girls the same he treated me and now he's saying we're just friends. What the shit is that.

"Friends? We barely know each other," I pursed my lips, I just can't accept it. Nilayo ko ang kamay ko sa kaniya. My hands were balled into fist under the table.

"Legit ba? Alam ko kaya lahat sa'yo," he says as he leaned his back on the chair.

For fucks sake.

"Even my birthday?" I ask, I play with my fingers as I look down at the ground.
