Pakaunti ng pakaunti ang tao sa loob ng auditorium. I want to go to my next class but I'm here on the stage, sitting on the floor, arguing with my boyfriend— ex.

"Let's break up, Athena." Finally, he spoke. I expected him to say that.

"Okay." I stood up, pinapag ko ang alikabok na dumikit sa skirt ko. I don't want to argue with him, we're done.

"That's it? Hindi ka iiyak?" Tanong niya sa gulat na boses.

"Bakit naman ako iiyak kung kaya kitang palitan." I sarcastically replied. I told to myself that I'm not gonna cry once he broke up with me. I pointed to the door, "get out, we don't need you here." I said between my gritted teeth.

"Fine," nagtiim-bagang saad niya saka lumabas, binalibag niya pa 'yung pinto.

"Is that too harsh?" Lapit sa'kin ni Mariana. Inabutan niya 'ko ng mineral water, tinanggap ko naman 'yon at ininom.

"His fault, pinagpalit niya 'ko sa cheerleader." Dapat nga ako 'yung makikipag-break, naunahan niya lang ako. I wiped my lips using my long sleeve.

"He did that because you don't have a time for him." Mariana looked at the door, kung saan lumabas 'yung lalaking 'yon.

"I thought he understand me." Inis kong tinapon 'yung empty bottle sa floor. "Now we need a new violinist."

Nag-aalala niya 'kong tinignan. "But Athena, bukas na tayo magpe-perform."

"Maybe I'll ask someone," napaisip ako.

"Who?"

"I don't know." Kinuha ko 'yung bottle na tinapon ko. Pinaglalaruan ko 'yon habang nag-iisip. Lagot ako nito kapag wala kaming nahanap na kapalit—

Then naalala ko siya. "Right," kinuha ko na ang bag ko saka tumakbo papalabas. "I'll talk to you later!" abi ko pa kay Mariana saka nagpunta sa classroom.

Nagmamadali akong umupo sa upuan ko. Um-attend muna 'ko sa next class ko, I waited for the break time before I approached her.

"No."

"Please Aly, I need your help. Masyadong mahirap 'yung chords, ikaw 'yung magaling mag-violin so please." Niyuyugyog ko pa 'yung balikat niya.

She shook her head again. She flipped the page of the book that she's reading. Hindi manlang siya nag-angat ng tingin sa'kin.

"But why?" sumandal ako sa upuan, I really need her.

Nang hindi siya sumagot , si Kylie na ang nagsalita. "She have a chess competition tomorrow."

Sheesh.

Natigilan ako at napaisip.

"Okay. How about you asked someone in music club instead, 'yung magaling din mag-violin. 'Di ba you have a friend there? Is that Ririka?"

"May kaibigan ka pala?" Kunot noong wika ni Andrei kay Aly. Its sounded like an insult, but Aly doesn't look like she care about it.

"Shut up, Andrei." Singhal ni Gwen, bigla namang natahimik si Andrei kasi si Gwen 'yung sumaway sa kaniya.

"Alyson, please." Ulit ko pa. Hindi ko talaga siya titigilan hangga't hindi siya pumapayag.

"I'll ask her later," Aly closed the book then she looked up, "and she's not my friend." She added, she removed her eyeglasses, put her head on the table, and closed her eyes.

"Thank you! Sabi ko na nga ba tutulungan mo 'ko." I said kahit alam 'kong nakatulog na siya.

"Nah, she did that to make you stop to annoy her." Lexi commented, she looked bored.
