Ace's pov:

It's 7:30 and she's still not here. I'm starting to think she's not coming. I start to gather my stuff to leave but just as I begin to walk away there she is, I can't believe she showed up. Gosh she looks beautiful as always. I drop my eyes to her and when our eyes meet her face flushes, I love when she blushes at me. ''Hey, thanks for coming'' I try to say as nicely as possible. ''No problem...So what do you have planned?'' she nervously asks, I inform her of what I have planned, which is to take her skating. She seems excited about it which pleases me. Sophia rents some skates and we head to the ice. ''Um.. I have a confession to make, I'm not that great at skating'' she says shakily. ''Don't worry about it, I'll help you.''.

As she gingerly steps on the ice she almost slips but luckily I'm able to catch her in time. She looks up at me shyly and thanks me for catching her.

I notice she's only wearing a t-shirt and is shivering so I hand her my hoodie to which she looks up at me, eyes twinkling and responds with a soft ''thank you''.

Approximately 30 minutes go by and she's starting to get the hang of it, but occasionally she stumbles and latches on to me for balance. When she first held onto me my body went numb but I got used to it and now I don't mind it at all.

Sophia has started getting more and more talkative with me throughout this date. I can't help but admire her, the way she looks at me when she talks about something she's passionate about, the way she laughs every time she stumbles, the way her long brown hair sways while she walks and so much more. I could get used to this. I was concerned that maybe asking her to meet me here wasn't a good idea but I don't regret it at all.

Sophia and I grow tired and decide to leave. I don't want her to leave yet so I try to think of an excuse. ''How about dinner?'' I ask, ''I'd love to!'' She smiles warmly.

I order myself a burger and she decides to order pasta with rose sauce. While waiting for our food she asks me about my family to which I tell her about my little brother and mom, I tell her that my little brother is 13 and loves gaming and that my mom is a doctor. We talk about other subjects too such as school, our favorite subjects, hobbies, favorite shows etc. ''You told me about your mom and brother but.. What about your dad?'' she asks curiously. I don't like talking about my dad which is why I'm relieved when the waitress arrives with our food.

The rest of our dinner is chill and she drops the question about my dad. We finish our dinner and I start to drive her back to the dorms.

The car ride is quiet, but it's a comfortable silence. We arrive at her dorm, I open the car door for her and she steps out of my car. I stand there awkwardly unsure of how to say goodbye. Fortunately she started to speak ''thank you for planning all of this, I had a good time.'' I nod and say ''anytime''. As I begin to walk away she grabs my hand and pulls me into a hug, before I get the chance to respond she runs away. Fuck, she's so sweet, what have I gotten myself into.
