Everyone was moving around, picking up parts and placing them where they needed to be. Simon and Martin picked up some extension cords to hold the fluorescent lights as Kate and Elle carried them over.

Deena grabbed the spray paint from the nearby store that Ryan Torres used to work at and sprayed a message on the floor. Martin grabbed a can of spray paint and sprayed a new message over the previously graffitied witch's message. Christine helped set up the fluorescent lights with Mads as they got duct tape and placed it over some of the lights.

Rope was secured through tiny holes at the bottom of the store gates to ensure that their plan would work without a single flaw.

Once the more difficult work was done, Josh and Alexis sat down as she squeezed in some glow-in-the-dark green paint in the bloody water mixture. Josh mixed it in so the green paint was now diluted and not in chunks.

Elle came over and grabbed a funnel so they could begin to transfer the paint into the water guns. Pouring the paint in, Alexis gave a thumbs up that the funnel was placed in and to add no more paint. With the ammunition filled and tightened in, it was time for the second part of their plan.

Simon grabbed a water gun and sprayed the entrance to the mall. Kate sprayed a line towards the center of the food court where the hanging tree was at. She ran towards Deena, Josh, and Simon who were in the middle already.

Plugging in the fluorescent lights, Deena looked towards where the entrance to the control room was. "Okay cut it!" Deena yelled to Christine and Elle standing next to her. Giving a nod, Christine opened the door as Elle shouted, "Cut it!" Martin, Mads, and Alexis began to shut off the circuit breakers that connected power to the entire mall.

The lights were shut off and the fluorescent lights were the only light source in the mall. The glow in the dark paint illuminated certain parts that were used with the water guns and glow in the dark spray paint.

The bells on a door ring, signaling that someone walked in. Simon, Josh, Kate, and Deena all looked at each other, possibly knowing who it was. The four of them got up and ran so the others could secure their spots.

Ducking near a counter, the four of them say with water guns filled with a glow-in-the-dark bloody mixture. "I don't see anyone." Deena whispered after looking around. "I see everyone else." Simon said, pointing towards the control room where the three of them watched as the Franklin siblings ran out of the room. Christine grabbed onto Martin as he ran with Mads while Elle grabbed Alexis' hand as they ran.

"Jesus, careful!" Martin said, commenting on how Christine was grabbing him. The five of them had water guns like the other four and hid near a kiosk stand. "Be quiet!" Alexis whispered harshly. "Why?" Mads asked, but was interrupted by Elle. "There's someone here!"

The three adults and six teenagers looked around suspiciously to determine the source of the noise. "I don't like this!" Martin harshly whispered. "Shut up!" Mads said, smacking his arm to which he rubbed in pain.

The sound of a gun cocking caught their attention and the burning sensation of a light. "Police! Hands up! Hands up!" An officer yelled to the group of five as they turned around, Martin and Alexis dropping the water guns and putting their hands up. The remaining four teenagers looked fearful as they saw the five (well four) trying to explain the situation.

"Listen! You don't have any idea what's going on!" "Your Sheriff is trying to murder us!" "We almost died god knows how many times tonight!" "He made a deal with the devil and now he's cursing our town!" As the group tried to explain, Martin tried to as well, but could only make chicken-like noises, followed by a, "We cool."

The officer took a good look at Martin and the other girl with her hands up, recognizing them as the Franklin siblings. "Martin and Alexis?" The man asked. Alexis knew that voice. Kapinski. "Yeah, yeah!" Martin replied, happy that someone recognized him.
