Chapter 5;

The whole content of my wardrobe was all over my bedroom floor and over my bed. Dan was out with his friends tonight so it was just Alice and I in the house. We had put Bruno Mars, grenade on at full volume and were trying to find something nice for me to wear tonight, there was one problem. I had no idea where I was going! This made it practically impossible to decide on what to wear. I sighed and collapsed on my bed.

“Alice it’s no use we have been through all of my clothes and we still haven’t found anything for me to wear. It is not half four and I still have to decide on makeup and hair.” I whined

“Don’t worry I will do it.” Alice said optimistically.

    Finally after another half an hour we decided on leggings, a dark brown vest top and a light brown little dress with my dolly shoes. Alice was curling my hair because she always says that it really suits my face when it’s curled. I didn’t want too much makeup so I went for the natural look, a quick sweep of mascara and a thin like of eyeliner then clear lip gloss.

    By the time Alice had finished my hair it was six o’clock, it was only an hour before Liam would be here. I got a small handbag, tossed my phone and lip gloss into it. Alice and I went downstairs because luckily Alice had to go home to babysit her younger sister Amy. I waved goodbye to her at the front door, slightly relieved that she wouldn’t be here when Liam got here.

    I was so nervous I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of Liam like I usually did on dates. I made myself a drink to give myself something to do while I waited for seven o’clock to arrive I had a whole hour to wait so I began flicking through television channels, there was nothing on considering it was a Friday night, when my phone started ringing. It was Dan.

“Alight Dan?”

“Yeah I was just phoning to tell you that I’m crashing at Sam’s tonight.” Dan said. He was clearly drunk.

I cut off the phone and put it back into my bag, this meant that I had an empty house tonight. if I didn’t get back too late tonight I could invite everyone over for a sleepover I thought when the doorbell rang. I jumped up in surprise and knocked my drink over.

“Crap! I’ll be there in a minute.” I called

I jumped up grabbing a towel from the side and mopped up the juice quickly then ran and opened the door.

    I gasped, there Liam stood on my doorstep looking like some kind of god! That was no overstatement. He was wearing some loosely fitting black jeans that hung on his hip bones, He was wearing a tight black t-shirt with a purple and white checked shirt open over the top of the t-shirt. His hair was slightly messy falling slightly over his eyes. Liam’s green eyes met mine and he pushed his hair out of his eyes lightly.

“Wow you look beautiful.” Liam said.

I blushed deeply and looked down towards my feet.

“Thank you. Would you like to come in?” I asked

I opened the door wider and stepped back so that he could come in. I walked over to the coffee table and continued mopping up my spilled juice. I noticed Liam walk up behind me and picked up the glass that was rolling around on the table and took it through into the kitchen. How sweet I thought, I hadn’t even asked him to do that. I had finished mopping up the juice, walked into the kitchen flung the towel in the washing machine and turned it on before I turned to Liam, a small smile playing on my lips. Liam pulled me in towards him and pecked me on the lips then pulled away. I took deep breath and pressed my lips to his again, I felt that little spark I always got when my lips touched his. I opened my mouth slightly and let out a small breath. I twisted my fingers into his hair and he wrapped his hands around my waist and I pressed my body up against his.
