Sushi date (Ripley)

Second person POV

   You didn't know what to think. On one hand you hoped she liked you back and on the other hand you didn't actually know her sexuality. You were close friends with Rhea but she'd never mentioned it and you didn't feel the need to really ask either but now it pulled at your heart every time you seen her; do absolutely anything. Her smile and laugh to how she carries herself, you can't think of a single flaw she had in your eyes. But- you couldn't tell if she felt the same about you, you were close, hung out every single day basically, ya worked together and even traveled together. You couldn't tell though, you'd be so sure that she did but then the next day have doubts.
   " Rum and coke please " you say to the bartender. You take the drink and pay them knowing you're only gonna have one. You sipped it slowly thinking to yourself and just taking a few moments. " Hey girl!" Pulled you right back out of your thoughts. " Hey Naomi " you responded with a soft smile. " what's wrong?" She asked and you raised an eyebrow " What do you mean?" you asked, looking at you she laughed. " You look like you're thinking about everything in life and then some " she added on. You laughed softly " Well... yeah but I'm just thinking, nothing to to serious " you saying chuckling. " why don't you talk to your girlfriend? Are you guys fighting? You haven't been next to each other since this morning?" She asked. You raised an eyebrow before it dawned on you and you laughed. " Rhea?... She's not my girlfriend " you laughed. Glancing around " I don't even know if she's here to be honest ". " Shes not your girlfriend? Oh damn, you could've fooled me " Naomi said causing you both to laugh. " You guys talk about everything so whats different about this topic?" She asked and you shrugged " If I could tell you I would be able to tell her " you laughed. You couldn't quite figure out how to explain it in general. " Maybe I will talk to her about it " you said as you finished your drink.

Your pov

   I got up after talking alittle more with Naomi and went back to the hotel, we actually were in this spot for a few days. After getting to the hotel I got into a little nicer outfit, it wasn't to late so maybe if Rhea isn't doing something I can ask her to go out to dinner with me and tell her. Something about the drink and Naomi's words are making me feel pretty confident. The worry I usually feel about it was pushed to the back of my mind and my mind pointed to one thing and it was to go tell her.
   Leaving my hotel room I made my way towards Rheas. Coming up to the door I knocked smiling alittle and just waited, " in a second!!" I heard the familiar aussie voice call out. I was waiting and when she opened the door putting shoes on I complimented her " you look lovely " she smiling right back " Thanks " she beamed " you look amazing " she said and looked me up and down. " Do you always have to one up me? " I asked laughing softly. " It's what I do Babe " she laughed softly and winked at me. " but no really, who are you so dressed up for " she asked and all of a sudden my throat got dry. " oh.. well" I asked. " It's actually for-" and before I could get another word out her phone went off and she glanced down " Oh Buddys here " she said and smiled " He's actually taking me out tonight , I'm so excited!" She said and smiled at me.

   " oh.. That's great " I said and smiled at her. " so who are you so dressed up for?" she re asked her question while starting to walk to the elevator. " well actually I was gonna ask if you wanted to go do something, but you got plans " I chuckled softly. She frowned " Aw damn! I'm sorry, We can go out tomorrow if you'd like " she said with a smile and I nodded " Sure " I said and let out the breath I didn't realize I was holding. Not gonna lie it felt like a blow to the chest but- I also knew it was a possibility, I was thinking to myself as I followed her into the elevator, no point in not going out now since I'm technically dressed for it. I assumed she didn't think I meant as in a real date but it's okay.
   " I hope there's some good clubs around here " I said with a chuckled. " call Liv and go with her and Sonya and everyone " She suggested and I nodded " yeah I probably will" i said and got off the elevator and started texting the group chat asking if anyone wanting to go with me to a club to dance or anything really and they did.

Second person Pov

   Sonya, Mandy , Liv , Naomi and  yourself found a club pretty quickly. " so did you talk to Rhea about it?" Naomi asked pulling you aside. " Nah.. she actually went out on a date with Buddy tonight " you said and Naomi raised a brow " Okay.. Well come on and let's go dance " she said and without hesitation she grabbed your hand and dragged you in the club where the rest of the party already went.
   It was fun, the music was good and you were all dancing and singing and having a good time, a shot here and there but nothing to crazy considering you really didn't want to be out for the whole next day tomorrow. You felt alittle hurt when she told you but not as hurt as you'd thought- maybe the emotions were pushed to the back of your mind or something but as long as you didn't stop and think to to hard you were having a good time.

Later that night you were laying in your bed in your pajamas and heard a soft knock. " Who is it?" You asked as you got up to look through the little peak hole in the door. " Sonya!" She said " And Naomi... And Liv" she added and you chuckled softly and stood there thinking about whether or not to actually open the door or not. " Girl open up " you heard Naomi laughing softly and you sighed and unlocked the door moving out of the way. " Soooo " you said seeing them have pillows and a blanket, they all got quiet and looked at each other. " what? someone spit it out " you said chuckling and sat down on your bed as they all joined you. Liv sighed " Since no one else will say it- we all agree that you should just tell Rhea how you really feel about her " she said and shrugged. " Well damn.." you said laughing " what it's true!... you both act the same and I don't see the harm in trying " she nodded. " because I don't even know if she likes women " you said with a slight sigh. " And I'm not asking.. if she wanted me to know she wouldve told me" you said. " well if youre not gonna ask then ask her on a date at least?.." Naomi suggested " I was going to tonight.. she had a date with Buddy " you said and saw them all wince alittle. " Not helpful guys " you said and laughed causing them to as well.
   " You should really tell her though regardless.." Liv added. " And hell you guys are with each other all the time, talk about any and everything.. " Sonya piped up. " And so do you and Mandy" you added " well yeah, Mandy's straight " she said and you nodded " well yeah.." you said and frowned slightly. " Can we change the subject.. We shouldn't be talking about Rhea when she's not here- even if it's about my feelings for her " you huffed and there was a knock on the door and you all stopped and held a breath " It's Rhea" you heard on the other side of the door and now your heart was in your ass. ' how much of that did she hear?' You were mentally punching yourself. " oh my god let me just turn into smoke " you mumbled to yourself " Come in!" You said and sat up as she walked in. " Wow nice not inviting me to the sleep over " she said laughing and you looked at her " They invited themselves " you said and she nodded " Still" she said laughing and joined all of you on the bed. " So what we're you guys talking about?" She asked and before you could speak all the women stood up " we're gonna go " they said and in a blink of an eye were gone. Not without of them all winking at you to tell her.
   " So are they avoiding me or what " Rhea laughed and you chuckled. " they're weirdos that's why " you said to her. " we can talk about it tomorrow " you said and she shrugged and turned on a movie and laid down.
