God I am so fucking clumsy. I could make an elephant seem like a fucking ninja. And I can embarrass myself so much it's actually unbelievable the things I can say to someone's face. So far at this party I have walked into about eight people (spilling drinks on three of them as well. Which they were so not happy about but couldn't do anything because it was my party and Andrew would take a bitch fit if someone swung at me), I have walked in to a clear door when it was closed (also very fucking sore. My nose hasn't recovered yet), and I took some chicken off of Andrews dad, only to drop it and luckily miss the dress but get the red sauce that was on the chicken to go all down my thigh- just missing my dress by half an inch.
"Are you alright?" Andrew asks as I clean myself up in the kitchen from the mess I made with the chicken. "I'll be alright. I just so cannot believe I have embarrassed myself so much for being here for just under two hours. How is it possible for someone to fail so much?"
"You've not failed, nobody really cares apart from its funny to see you flustered and blush," he mocks me with a smiles but then sees how unamused my face is he adds, "You've never really been good with social situations though. You are better at different things like pfft. You have some things like stealing my food and pretending that you didn't." He winks at me.
"Thanks," I sigh as I finish cleaning up myself from the mess. I lead Andrew outside and sit by the fire pit along with a load of other people. Half the pack is sitting outside eating and laughing with each other. There is about 20 chairs for people to sit next to the fire pit which is a ginormous fire in the middle of 20 chairs all set in a circle around it. I find two empty seats and lead Andrew over to sit and try not embarrass myself.
"I'll be back in a minute," he says to me as he rushes back in the house. I guess he got a mind-link of something happening in the house. Instead of Andrew sitting next to me, I see Ava walking over to me and takes the seat Andrew was supposed to sit in.
"Hi bitch," she says
"Hey cocksucker," I greet her back.
"So how are you doing, I've been watching from a distance and every time I see you, you are doing something more stupid than the last." She says looking at me weirdly with a small smirk.
"You know how I have always been unable to try to be social. I just embarrass myself so much and I don't know how, I create awkward tension so I try to leave but end up doing something wrong," I tell her sighing again. I wish I could change myself so much.
"You'll grow out of it. You can't just be awkward your whole life. At some point it has got to change. You just won't get as embarrassed easily," she smiles sadly at me before smiling widely, "and, to quote Pierce The Veil 'darling you'll be okay," she sings to me.
"I smile back at her grateful, "thanks. When did you get so smart?" I joke
"I just simply do not know how. I think you just got lucky in having a friend like me," she says cockily while flicking her hair in my face. "Oh what a great friend," I mumble sarcastically.
"From the house I see Andrew coming back out and he looks like he has something in his hand but I don't know what it is yet. As he comes closer to me I notice that he's carrying my guitar. Everybody around the fire pit stops their conversations as Andrew comes next to me with my guitar.
"Here, I think you should play and give everybody here some entertainment," he leans in closer to me like about to give me some secret gossip. "Your guitar will keep you occupied from being embarrassed for a little while."
"He's right and this is why I love him. My guitar is like my sanctuary. It is the best thing that I own and it's pretty much my own little baby. My mum taught me how to play guitar when I was younger as she was a musician. I first learned when I was 7 years old and have not stopped playing since. I like to keep my guitar close to me at all times because it brings back great memories of me and my mum. We would both play and sing together in harmony until some of her final days.
