Nobody pov

Soda had been quite most of the week not talking much which was weird for him as he's know for being lively and active "Hey Soda you been alright" he was zoneing out "Hm? Oh yeah I'm fine why?" The group looked at each other and then back at Soda "Soda you've been weird all week what happened" he sighs and puts his head on the table "so there's this person that both me and Steve know and..." He mumbles something "Soda you mumbled" Steve snaps his fingers "are you talking about y/n from work? He hasn't been to work in a week" Soda mumblee again "Soda we can't understand you" Soda look up at the others and stands up "FORGET IT" Soda then walks away and out the house nobody trying to stop him.

Soda pov

I get to y/n's house and knock on the door "Oh hey Soda y/n's been asking for you" I thank his mom and walk towards his room but was stopped "Hey Soda?" I look down at S/n (Sister name) "yeah s/n?" She hold up to me some food and a water bottle "make sure my Bubba eats he hasn't been out his room all day" I thank her and continue going towards his room "hey y/n can I come in?" I hear a mumbled 'yeah' so I open the door.

"hey.....can you look at me?" He turns his head a bit "come here" I open my arms and he sits up and hugs me "do you feel up to eating" he shakes his head "I'll eat with you if you want but please eat a little bit of something" he sighs "fine" I smile and kiss his head then his cheek and I start tickling him while kissing him.

Ponyboy pov

It had been a few hours and we were panicking now "Steve do you know where y/n lives?" Steve thinks for a moment "I might" "THEN SHOW US WE NEED TO FIND SODA" he nods his head and we follow him. A few minutes later we see a white and blue house (feel free to change the house colors) Darry walks up to the door and knocks "Hello? Oh hi how can one help you?" A small h/c girl walks down the hallway and sees us and waves then goes into a room "is y/n here?" She nods and fully opens the door to let us in.

"Hes with another friend just so you guys know" we nod and walk towards the room but get paused by someone yelling "EWWWW DON'T DO THAT WHILE I'M IN THE ROOM THAT'S NASTY BUBBA" the same h/c girl that waved at is ran out the door and saw us "I wouldn't go in there" she then walks away as we all look at each other confused. We knock on the door and hear people laughing "who's there?" The door opens and we see a h/c male lightly gasping for air and Soda in the back on the bed. "GUYS IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE-" the h/c male looks confused while Soda was panicking.

"Soda your coming home and you're gonna explain" "wait what's going on" "I'm not going back home I want to stay here for  the night" a fight broke out it wasn't physical but lots of yelling happened.

Y/n pov

S/n saw there was a fight and ran to me and hugged me "ALL OF YOU GET OUT YOU'RE MAKING BUBBA SAD AGAIN" s/n yelled "GET OUT!" I hadn't heard s/n yell so much she was normally happy and not loud "ok.... We will leave" the others along with Soda left leaving me and s/n still hugging me "you should go to bed s/n" she nods and smiles "you should also sleep bubba" I nodded and smiled at her "I will get sleep don't worry" she nods and leaves shutting my door behind her.

Soda pov

We finally get home but nobody speaks I feel terrible for fighting and yelling in front of y/n "Soda" "hm" "who exactly is he? Obviously he's not just someone you work with" my throat goes dry I don't want the gang knowing about me and y/n he wouldn't want them to know.

[Time skip few weeks]

S/n pov

My mom asked me to go to Bubba's work and give them this note so that's where I'm going but I couldn't stop thinking '𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘉𝘶𝘣𝘣𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 be 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦' I shrugged my shoulders and walk into the gas station and see Steve instantly going to him instead of Soda.
