Ray POV "This burden is something you don't have to carry by yourself" I look to the rest of us escapees, "Together we'll create a world where we can all live as a family."
Emma gives a relieved smile. I can tell this has been weighing on her mind quite a bit.
"Right so, what's the plan from here?" I ask.
"I wanna get water." Emma states, "You saw that river in the way here right? I wanna see if it's drinkable."
I nod in agreement, "Solid idea, that way we can also get food."
But they'll expect us to do that, oh well.
"Do you know where we're going from here?"
"Mhm! We're going south!" She smiles with determination.
Huh. Maybe she's not so clueless after all.
"South? What's in the south worth visiting?"
Without further explanation, Emma retrieved a peculiar looking pen from her bag. One that I don't think I've seen before.
"Point B06-32, the place we'll find Mister Minerva!" Emma hands the pen over to me, "Norman got it from Sister Krone before she left."
I begin to open the pen, enough that 'B06-32' is visible on the part of the pen where the ink would normally be.
I wonder if Norman told Chouchou about this pen. Maybe she's waiting for us at the point. Hah, wishful thinking.
"Pull it out more, you'll see why."
When I did, the pen produced some sort of hologram. B01-14 was displayed across it with the notorious owl seal down below.
"B01-14 must be where we are-"
"LANNI?!"
"?"
Emma turned around and I looked in various directions to find the voice behind the sound of distress.
"What's wrong Thoma?" I asked, to which he cried for our help.
" I can't find Lanni! He was here a second ago, and now he's gone!"
