Luniver's Sister

It was late at night and the moonlight shone down on the water of the lake illuminating the sparkles of the fireflies as they fly around the forest through the night air.

A small and light current of airflow was loosely lifting up old leaves from the floor of the edge of the lake, the wind channels are also moving the branches.

When a young navy blue haired girl who was just sitting on a rock at the edge of the lake, as she lifted up her head, it was mainly from her hearing someone approaching just inches behind her.

"Luniver?"

the girl replied without turning to meet her older brother's face, who only looked surprised and a bit shocked how she could recognize him even from hearing him.

"was I that noisy Luna?" asked Luniver stepping out of the forest behind her.

Luna, I don't understand why you asked me here...

Luna still had her back against Luniver, she was unresponsive for a minute and a half, before turning her attention to him, which shocked him completely.

All she had is a smile on her face. "the night is beautiful isn't it?" she said softly looking up at the night sky.

"..oh uh yeah? it is"

Luniver walked up to his sister, as she stayed on her rock admiring the night.

I don't understand... is this why you asked me here...

"it is... but-"

Luniver halted before hearing a trig snap in the distance. He blinked eyes alert in the direction where he heard it. Although Luna also heard the snap of the trig, she jumped to her feet off of the rock she summoned her double ended sword; one of her weapons. she has two others as well. A magical staff and a bow and arrow.

She scanned the distance of the shoreline and the forest after she landed on the mushy ground near the lake, using her night vision and that is something Luniver doesn't have. he can shapeshift under the moonlight and she can't.

YASMIN?!!

Luniver gasped realizing who might be in the forest he tried to stop his sister, but it was too late when he saw Luna advance her weapon and fling it over to the direction of where Yasmin is.

YASMIN WATCH OUT!

the double ended sword whirled in mid air and it hit the tree where the witch of mystery was hiding behind. Her scream was so loud and terrifying you can hear it back at alfea and all the way in magix city and that made Luniver faint.

Although when Luniver heard Yasmin's shocked cry, he saw her kneeling on the ground looking at the double ended sword.

"got out of there, just in time" she responded softly panting.

"I knew it!! someone was eavesdropping on us!"

screeched Luna out loud. she magically motioned her hand and in a flash the double ended staff went back to her after she recalled it over.

Yasmin gasped as she noticed the sword went out of the tree. the tree had a large hole in the trunk from the sword's blade being in it. she also hopped to her feet and whistled. Luniver saw Yasmin's broom fly over to her and she jumped upwards, with a small amount of her levitation aura around her as she sat on her broom.

Yasmin also summoned her mystery staff as well, grasping her broom with her one hand and her staff in her left hand she glared at Luna. "who do you think you are?!"

"are you trying to kill me... if you are a student of Alfea University, then you should be punished for almost harming a headmistress!"

Yasmin pointed her staff right at Luna, unaware that Luniver is right there.

"try me... but however I don't go to that pathetic university and I don't give a damn.. if I kill you" yelled Luna as she changed out her double ended sword to her radiant staff.

Luniver gasped.

Yasmin!! don't.. I have to stop this before both of them actually harms one another!!

Luniver shapeshifted into his wolf form and before Luna can use her gravitational levitation magic right at Yasmin, he jumped and knocked her down to the ground pinning her to the ground. As he did so she let go of her staff and it reverted back into it's original form, a double ended sword.

That is enough... Luna!

Luniver growled staring at Luna sinking his paws to hold her down on her back, looking up at Yasmin who is slowly going down to the ground but she is still on her broom. Luna rapidly moved trying to get free, from her brother's grasp of her. he growled at her to not move, protecting Yasmin.

"Luna.. you may not harm her..." he spat at her.

"thank you Luna..." Yasmin mused at Luniver. "but-"

"alright that's it?!!" yelled Luna forcing her older brother off her, he landed far back from her as she faced Yasmin who was still sitting on her broom. "look I don't know what is your deal... or why you keep hanging out with my older brother!" also stop calling him Luna, when clearly he doesn't like being called that?!

Yasmin was speechless, however before Luna could strangle Yasmin. Luniver grabbed her arm to haul her back. "LUNA!! will you stop! just stop for one second!"

Yasmin blinked slightly confused. when she was about to open her mouth again to ask Luniver why he yelled that while holding the girl back. the young girl flashed her gaze at Yasmin, "yes my name is Luna, pathetic purple haired witch..." she sneered at Yasmin.

"well that's rude... and another thing, you should really learn something about me! before calling me out?! you don't really know anything about me!"

As Yasmin stayed on her broom half way near the ground crossed armed, while clutching her mystery scepter in one hand.

Luna glared at Yasmin with her wicked grin, "no really- all you are is just a witch who rules a pathetic fairy university...what more should I know?"
