Description:

Rosalie and Kaora end up going back into the past years before their very eyes, without their familiars. Meanwhile, Rosalie Palladium is still trying to remember the one that got out of existence in the present. Jinx Audra.

However, when she noticed her again, Rosalie doesn't hesitate to go up to her, but there is one problem, this is past Jinx and if Rosalie and Kaora were to change the past, it will affect the present day. Meanwhile, Kaora, begins to have doubts about her friendship with Rosalie.

Part 1:

It was peaceful in Faera Hills and Rosalie Palladium sat in the window seat of the apartment she shares with her friend Kaora Darnesse. It was too quiet, because Rosalie was in her moment, thinking of what to do... and about Siria's older sister...

"what should I do, now? I thought I could help Jinx, by using my healing and support magic to help her regain consciousness, from when she sacrificed her own self to save Siria, but the truth is when she did gain consciousness, Jinx didn't know who I am?..."

The girl's long golden blonde hair is up with a high bun, as she smiled looking down at Kaia, in her lap purring. Upon opening her eyes, as glanced over at Aria, noticing her huddled with Kaora's black bear cub familiar, Barry. She scanned the area for Kura, but she soon spotted the Shadowcat on the black chair, blended into the seat of the chair.

"How sweet? my leopard familiar must have missed Barry" she chuckled and turned her attention to the window again.

Rosalie sighed, lightly. "Why did Yama Raja, choose to wipe Jinx from existence? I feel sorry for Kuro, having to listen to that witch's orders?" she thought clearly soft enough so none of the familiars could hear her. "is my turn coming, if-" paused Rosalie gritted her teeth as she heard Kaora speak.

"is your turn, what?" she asked closing the door, holding bags of groceries.

Rosalie's voice caught in her throat, nervous, turning onto her friend as she entered the Apartment.

"n-nothing" she grinned at her friend.

"oh- then why are you sweating Rose?" she chuckled, curiosity looking at her.

Rosalie tensed up, even more, she lifted up her familiar and placed her onto the window-seat, before she managed to stand up. "oh- you might want to be careful if you plan to sit on your black chair... you don't want to sit on Kura" she laughed

"Thanks for the warning" spoke Kaora, putting the bags on the kitchen counters.

"it was hard for me to tell the black fur lump of Kura and the chair" she chuckled.

"I can see that, I can hardly see my familiar on the chair itself" she responded from where she stood.

"I think we should start getting dinner ready for ourselves and our familiars? don't you think?" she asked before Rosalie noticed a portal opened up, behind Kaora.

"Kaora, look out?!"

Rosalie tried to pull her friend out of the way, it wasn't successful the portal grew bigger and it engulfed both Kaora and herself into it. All the two women heard from both of them, are screaming... The portal soon closed around the two women like it didn't appear.

Rosalie opened her eyes and noticed the time flashing past Kaora and her as they both fell through the rift, she ended up screaming after she looked down.

Back in the apartment, silence pierces the air. Kura and Kaia rose their heads from their spots and went back to sleep.

Part 2:

As the portal reopened again, however, the surroundings looked very different trees were around as one of the two girls landed face-first into the grass, without saying anything; while the other landed on her feet but was unable to get balance and ended up on her butt. When she leaned over her dark hair went over her face biting her lip while in pain, "ouch..." she groaned putting one hand on her butt slowly rubbing it.

The girl that went face-first into the dirt, looked up making a spitting sound in disgust. Her glasses fell off her face as she sat up, "being a nature fairy and all, but tasting the dirt and grass, no thanks" she said as she grabbed her glasses with one swipe of her hand, picking them up and putting them back over her eyes once more. she got a good look around her. "what?-"

she looked back at the girl who was rubbing her butt. "Kaora, look around you, there is no apartment or even Soleil Academy?"

Kaora's eyes went wide, jumping to her feet and looking around. "you're right Rose-" she asked turning to her friend who had a dirty face.

Rosalie got to her feet, her golden blonde hair went straight back down as she turned toward Kaora, as she glanced around her. "I think we should look around, to find any clues on where the heck are we?"

"good idea" Kaora added deliberately in agreement "but I think we shouldn't think of leaving each other, as we can't be sure where we ended up to"

Rosalie only heard the words 'good idea' come out of Kaora's mouth because once Kaora looked over to where Rosalie was, she wasn't even there; and as she turned around Kaora noticed Rosalie was slowly leaving her behind her.

Kaora's eyes widened and raced after her best friend, at a fast pace. "HEY ROSALIE WAIT UP!! DIDN'T I TELL YOU THAT WE SHOULD STICK TOGETHER!!!" she yelled as she raced to catch up to the golden blonde-haired elf that was slowly parting her side.

Rosalie halted looking back, sticking out her tongue "oh sorry, never heard you say that?" she added playfully

Anger flared up within Kaora, as she frowned disapprovingly "I wonder how you ever became a professor at Soleil"

Rosalie giggled as she turned away, waving at her, walking onward, "if you don't hurry, we won't get anywhere Kaora?"

Kaora blinked as anger blazed within her eyes and raced after Rosalie. What do I get from her leaving me, behind like this? and even ignoring half of my fucking sentences... why am I best friends with this werecat elf?

Part 3:

Rosalie walked at a fast pace, which pisses off Kaora, who was just frankly trying to keep up. They both ended up in the city, where both girls stopped dead in their tracks.

"Kaora, you seeing this?" Rosalie speaks while pushing up her glasses.

"Y-yes, but this is-" paused Kaora looking around, noticing a young girl who looked just like her, alongside a younger Rosalie, running after a younger Dongli, in the direction of the local Cafe or Bakery.

"are we?" asked Rosalie facing Kaora's direction in question hoping she would finish her sentence. "in the past!"

Both of the girl's eye sockets went wide in shock, "oh my god, why is this? Rosalie what did you do?!" glared Kaora right at the blonde-haired girl.

"me?!" pointed Rosalie "that was not my intention, plus I was physically trying to pull you out of the way as myself as well... but that! Portal didn't let me do it!"

"ugh, yes. you. tell me why did you open up a portal to the past, even if we are in the past" cursed out Kaora, turning on her friend.

"Me, I did not even do this, Kaora, you are basically telling me that I did this" she clarifies waving her handoff and removed her elven crystalline sceptre from her messy hair. " if that is the case which it is not. My sceptre has transportation portals... but in the damn present!!"

Kaora didn't believe Rosalie was telling the truth, but it holds a bit of it when it comes to her sceptre. she opened her mouth, however, Rosalie cut her off adding another fact.

"I get it, you might be skeptical, but right now, my sceptre is useless in the past. just look around you, as you see of our past selves that passed by us. looked far younger and we are like..." Rosalie paused not trying to offend her friend and her ego, she is far younger, due to being a half-elf and that she will live longer than her best friend, but not the point. Still, her perfect eye-sight has weakened to blurry when it comes to the furthest she views things. "this might even be the past... like we ended up in the time period of when Alya stole your majestical key. remember?"

Just as Rosalie, said that she heard screaming and soon enough she noticed Dongli and young Kaora leave the Cafe in a hurry, after a smaller petite girl, holding onto a glimmering key.

Kaora beside her noticed the incident frowning. "damn, that takes me back... but wait where are you?" she turned to the golden blonde.

"I- well, young me is paying and was packing up the meals you two left" she grinned loosely.

"ah, yes... right?" Kaora nodded.
