I wake up to the feeling of something rubbing against my face furrowing my brows I roll over slowly opening my eyes.

Shuji is standing next to my bed with a surprise Pikachu face that quickly changes into a grin.

"Good morning N/N" He says taking our homework from where I was just lying and I realize that I feel asleep on my homework, I sit up yawning.

"What time is it?" I ask stretching my arms above my head.

"Uh 9am I think." He says looking at an imaginary watch on his wrist I groan wanting to go back to sleep "I was trying to let you sleep longer but I didn't want you to start drooling on our homework."

"It's fine. We need to take it to school anyways." I say subconsciously wiping the side of my mouth as he leaves the room.

I get up and get changed making sure that I have everything before heading downstairs.

When I get to the bottom of the stairs, I see dad pinning Shuji to the wall with an arm across his throat I quickly run over pulling dad off of him.

"The hell are you doing here?!" Dad yells punching me in the stomach making me hit the wall next to Shuji.

"Y/N!" Shuji grabs my arm to keep me from falling "Stop! We're going to school right now!"

"Don't raise your voice at me!" Dad yells again grabbing Shuji and shoving him away from me making him trip on something on the ground before grabbing my collar "I told you not to come back!"

"I'm sorry I-" He cuts me off by kneeing me in the stomach.

"Don't give me that shit! You completely disobeyed me!" He continues pulling my face inches from his out of the corner of my eye I see Shuji about to intervene, but I put my hand up silently telling him not to.

'We're going to do it right now I swear." I say calmly not wanting things to get worse he scoffs shoving me to the ground towards the door.

"If I don't get a call from the school in an hour, you're both gone." He threatens purposely bumping into Shuji on his way back to the living room.

Shuji glares at his back walking over to me it his hand out I grab his hand and he pulls me up.

"You okay?" He asks as we walk to the back door and I nod.

"It hurt like a bitch, but I'll be fine." I say walking through the back gate closing it behind me as Shuji gets on the bike "Did he hit you?"

"No but he would have if you didn't pull him off me so thanks but that was stupid." He answers and I shake my head getting on behind him.

"You were about to do the same thing." I say and he starts the bike laughing a little.

"Guess we're stupid together then." I laugh loosely holding onto Shuji's jacket as he takes off towards the school.

We park away from the doors and people immediately start staring probably because we hate being here and never show up but also because we have a tendency to beat up almost anyone who talks to us.

We get to our class right as the bell rings so we walk in and toss our work on the teacher's desk.

"There two weeks of missing work." Shuji says as the teacher looks at the papers slightly startled.

"Can you call our dad and let him know we dropped these off?" I ask putting my hands in my pockets lazily staring down at her.

"Um of course after I-" "Now." Shuji and I say in unison her eyes go wide and she nods silently reaching for the phone.

"Hello Mr. Hanma

I'm calling to let you know your sons turned in all their missing work so there's nothing to worry about.

Yes of course have a good day." She hangs up and I mumble a 'thanks' before we leave the classroom.

"Well what do you wanna do know?" Shuji asks looking over to me as we walk and I shrug.

"It's been a while since we've fought together." I say starting to grin still annoyed about earlier and he grins.

"Hey Hanma!" Shuji and I both look to the side hearing our surname "You guys think you can just leave and come back then the whole school will still bow down to you!"

A short guy maybe 5'4 with spikey brown hair is yelling at us from 10 feet away with four guys behind him.

"Hey N/N did we ever tell anyone to bow down to us?" Shuji asks grinning wider as we walk towards the group.

"Nope they did that on their own." I say taking my hands out of my pockets as we stop in front of them.  

"You can't scare us! We know you guys are just cowards who can't fight one on one!" Spikey yells pointing at us making me chuckle.

"Says the one who came with an entire group but if you want either one of us could beat your ass alone." Shuji threatens throwing an arm over my shoulders as we stare down at the guy.

He drops his arm taking a step back before regaining his false confidence "Fine I'll take you on then I'll beat up your brother."

Shuji and I look at each other having a silent conversation before I shrug taking a few steps back making the other four guys step back as well.

Shuji towers over the now visibly nervous guy lazily grinning as the guy slowly raises his fists in an instant Shuji punches him in the face sending him to the ground.

"Hm I thought he'd last longer." Shuji says frowning down at him then looking at his friends "Anyone else?"

The four guys quickly shake their heads 'No' then Shuji turns around facing me "How dull guess we have to find someone else."

"It wouldn't have been fun anyways." I shrug before seeing one of the guys running at Shuji's back, in two large steps I'm next to Shuji and kick the stomach sending him back to his friends.

"Did you seriously just try that?" I ask with a grin, but my tone makes the four flinch while Shuji turns back around visibly excited.

"Wait it was just him!" one of them yells pushing the guy I kicked forward.

"You call us cowards then try to attack my brother when he has his back turned." I say grabbing the guy buy the collar and punching him square in the face.

The other three run off leaving the other two behind as I turn back to Shuji "Well that's not exactly what I had in mind."

"What are you talking about we have all day to find people stupid enough to fight us. This was just a warmup." Shuji says as we walk back to our bike and take off to have fun beating the shit out of people.
