Picture yourself in my shoes.
Going through what I'm going through.
Running, but I have nowhere to run to.
Watching my life unfold in front of me.
Wondering, if this defines me.
From my pain... I seek solace.
But instead , I'm losing my confidence.
I'm trying to fill my emptiness -
with happiness.
But my soul is now like my shadow
in terms of darkness.
Picture yourself...
My dark shadow - it follows me around.
I have tried leaving it behind.
I run , but it can't hide.
My life - a wild tide.
The future picture I used to have of myself
is slowly fading away.
I can only see a glimpse of the light.
It is not as bright.
I'mma hold on to the tiny spark..
Enlargen it , make and leave my mark!
