Secret Identities (Rainbow Quest AU) [On hold]

Chapter 1

Being struck with lightning more than once in a day really sucked. Now, he was flammable, but lightning didn't really affect him apparently. It was still bright, loud, and just overall obnoxious though.

He looks around uneasily, he feels a strange energy. It's familiar, and he doesn't know whether to be happy or scared of that fact.

He walks around the room, searching for any way out. This place looked weird in his opinion, and he didn't want to be here. He tried going back through the portal, but it instantly broke the second before he could even touch it.

"Drat." He groans, and looks around the room. There's one door that leads into a small bedroom, and there's no way out through there. He closes the door and then notices a pressure plate on the floor.

He steps on it and it opens up to show another room, which has two doors. He walks through the opened wall and into the middle of the room, and the wall closes. He ignores it and walks through one of the doors, and it's just a room filled with a bunch of redstone.

He leaves the room and goes to the other door, and opens it.

"Uh.."

There's someone there. They turn to him and smile.

Sabre's not having it, and runs to the other side, assuming that's the exit. He's right as he opens the door and sees grass. He books it outside as the stranger chases him.

"Wait!!"

Sabre in fact does not wait, instead he ducks through the trees. The stranger however does not give up, and chase after him even then. They're a lot faster than him.

They seem to slow down and then Sabre trips, falling over a tree root. The strange person catches up to him and crouches over him, catching their breath. "You run fast dude.."

Sabre crawls away from them only to bump into another tree. "Stay away!"

"Woah woah woah I'm not gonna hurt you, I promise!" They say, and hold their hand out. "I'm Schrust, but you can call me Rust."

Sabre hesitantly takes Rust's hand. "I'm.. Sabre, yeah. Sabre." Rust helps him up.

"You're tired, and I mean no harm." He says. "Please come with me, it's not really that safe out here."

Sabre nods. "Fine."

They go back to Rust's house. "So.. Sabre."

"Hm?"

"How exactly did you get here?"

They walk inside, and Rust leads Sabre to a couch.

"Well.. I was taken from my original.. home.. and I was stuck wherever I was for what felt like years actually."

Rust nods, "And how did you get here though?"

"Well.. in that place, there were these.. shadow things following me everywhere." Rust tilts his head, recognizing the description. "And then they chased me into a cave, and there was something there." He says, looking down and hugging himself. "They said some creepy things and struck me with lightning, and I was teleported into a hallway. At the end of it there was a portal, and that led me here."

Rust stares at him. "That's not ominous at all."

Sabre laughs. "I was stuck with lightning twice today, and I don't like it." He explains. "I'm naturally flammable and it scares me."

"Oh? You don't.. look.. flammable." Rust says.

"Well, I am." He says. "I have a question though.."
