Denial

Next day, you woke up early, change into a dress and exit your room to go to the kitchen. You only grab a pancake in hurry and exit the house. You see the car of Steve waiting for you. You step in the car, readjust your dress and look at Steve.
"Wassup babe ?" He smiles at you.
"I'm fine, just a little tired as usual ! And you ? Went to the mall ?"
"Nah, i went home right after droping you" As Steve talk, he start the car and drive to the school.

Several hours later, it's lunch time so you go straight to the cafeteria. You grab you meal then search for an empty table to sit. Steve join you soon after.

"I mean, we could lose this game if they don't focus more !" Steve sigh, hopeless.
"I'm sure you can motivate them..." you eat slowly, bored. Suddenly you see someone walking towards your table.
"I like the dress ! Much better than your pyjamas !" Eddie take the apple you were going to eat then leave.
"What the fuck was that Y/N ? Who is this guy and why did he saw you half naked ?!" Steve looks at you, angry.
"Hum... It's not what it looks like Steve..." You're blushing in shame.
"Oh no ? It is pretty clear to me. I see now why you didn't want to go to the mall with me..." He now looks at you with disappointment.
"I swear it's not like that ! He- Dustin has his friends over for his stupid game ! They were very loud so i went to see what was going on but i didn't know they were there ! So this guy saw me, yes but i went straight to my room ! You have to believe me !" You take his hand in yours. He looks at you, searching the truth in your eyes.
"Okay... I.... I trust you. But you should have told me this morning." He plant a kiss on your forehead.
"Yeah, i'm sorry... it won't happen again." You smile softly.
"I love you."
"...Me too." You respond before kissing him.

After you lunch, you go to your next class but the moment you enter the classroom you bump (again !) into someone's back.
"Shit... Not again !" You readjust your dress and your hair then look up. You recognize immediately the hair but before you can quietly run away he turns to you.
"Henderson's sister !" Eddie smiles widely.
