Too Late

Authors pov:

"And you're pretty too" Time said with a smirk.
"So....what about us?" Time asked while attempting to hug him.
"P'Time.... as I said , I don't wanna be in any relationship. It was just a one-night stand. We can't be fuck buddies or anything more." He said.

And that conversation broke Time's heart cuz he did have some kind of crush on him. No one ever rejected Time. He could have any person he wants to , no one ever rejected him , well expect his boyfriend , his boyfriend would refuse to be close to him when they were fighting and Time would make him come back.

After that conversation with Tem , he left the place. He was at a beautiful lake-side restaurant with Tem , talking about random topics. It wasn't actually a date but Time wanted to know what Tem feels about Time after that night. But what he didn't knew was , just like him , Tem was much more interested in one night stand. Nothing personal. No feelings at all. But that seems to upset Time. He was kinda into Tem and wanted to keep whatever intimate relation they had. Now , heart broken, he was heading home, to his boyfriend.

Ding-Dong~

Tay opened the door , kinda surprised since he thought Time might won't come home tonight, since he had "work" to do. And Tay knew exactly what kind of work Time had.

"You're back" he said , almost to himself. Moving back, he made space for Time so he could come in and then closed the door , locking it. Time went straight to couch , sat on it while staring at ground.

"What happened Time?" Tay asked. He knew Time didn't have any work in office, it was just an excuse. An excuse to go see someone. Someone with whom he'll cheat on Tay again. But that can just be Tay's Paranoia right? It was obvious , Tay was just trying to ease his feelings like he does everytime. But today , Time looked upset. Very upset. That made Tay think. Wasn't he excited before going to office? Then what happened?

"N-nothing" Time said , stuttering, and he tried to hug Tay. Tay let him do it. Time hugs Tay , burying his face in Tay's belly , tighten his hold around Tay.

And by this time , Tay had understood everything, well kind of. Tay is sharp-eyed. Tay understands Time very well, better than anybody else. So much so that Time's little action can tell a lot about him.

We all fall in love with someone we can't have. Tay thought.

"Let's go to bed shall we?" Asked Time while looking up at Tay.

"You can go , I'll read-"
"Then read it while cuddling with me." Time said still looking at Tay.

And that's how they ended up cuddling on bed while Tay continues reading his book. Time's head on Tay's chest so he could read a little too.

"And he thought it was love? That's stupid! He was in prison for rape , that too of a young child. How could a person possibly fall in love with such a trashy guy? Ugh" Time starts his ranting session. Tay chuckled at him and closed the book.

"Love , Time. It's unpredictable. And he saw Boone as a saviour not knowing his crimes at the beginning. In love, you have this stupid thought and hope that you can change the other person." Tay said while looking at Time. The moment their eyes met , Tay looked away , he stretched his arm to keep the book at bed side table and switch off the lights.

"Stop thinking and sleep Time." Tay said sweetly.

Few minutes passed and Time was already fast asleep while Tay was looking at his face. Caressing his cheeks. Tears started streaming down his cheeks.

Funny how this person, who promised to love him forever, broke his heart in pieces, still he's here , loving him with all the broken pieces. Tired , he was tired of hoping that one day he would eventually stop. One day he'll change , for good.
