I love you Riley

Riley's P.O.V

I was sitting outside James' room with his mum while the doctors tried to wake James up, I had my fingers crossed.

"Do you think he will wake up," I asked.

"Of course he will," James' mum replied.

A couple minutes later an the doctor came out.

"Good News, he's awake," He said and I took a huge sigh of relief.

"Can we see him," Janes' mum asked.

"I would give him a few minutes and then you can see him," the doctor replied.

A few minutes later I walked into James' hospital room, James' mum told me to go first so I did. as I walked in the guiltiness came back to haunt.

I walked up to the bed and there he was the person I loved the most was awake.

"Riley!" He loudly whispered.

"James!" I replied.

It took me a few minutes to process everything and then I leant in to kiss him, It was quite a passionate kiss.

James started to make noises as if he was sore so I pulled away and took deep breaths.

"What brought that on?" He said giggling.

"Sorry."

"It's fine, I love you Riley," he said as his thumb rubbed along my cheek.

Part of me wanted to tell him now about what happened but I couldn't, he seemed too happy I will have to wait.
