The redwoods stood still. It was as if the entire forest had frozen. But secretly, oh so secretly, some movement resided. For deep amongst the trees stood a mighty structure, crafted from all but logs and rocks. This was one of the many ape-built outposts stationed around the area. And this base had a very important occupant......the king of the apes himself. Caesar.

Inside the makeshift command post was a shoddy table made from a tree stump. On it was sprawled a map of the redwoods, no doubt stolen from human soldiers. Around the table were a number of figures, apes of course.
They were:

•Caesar, the king Chimpanzee
•Luna, a great Bonobo warrior
•Luca, a huge, powerful Gorilla
•Maurice, Caesar's trusty Orangutan Friend
•Caesar's personal bodyguard and companion Rocket

The collection of apes vital to the war effort were all gathered. They had come to a small outpost nearby to the apes true home, where all the non-warriors resided. They included Caesar's family, who were Blue eyes, his eldest son, Cornelia, his wife and Cornelius, the baby boy.

An important, tactical debate was about to take hold......
