Author's Introduction

 Decided it was too confusing to have the rewritten version in the old story. So here the new one. A lot of changes has occur in this one as I plot it out much better than the old one. There a lot more cats and the story will go slower this time. Nightpaw will remain the same so no worries if you enjoy his character. This version is after I read Exile from Shadowclan so Volewhisper will be in here. Now Canon Characters aren't going to be the exact same as I'm not good at writing their exact personality but I will try my best not to veer too off track from their canon characterization. If I do, please let me know as sometimes I will mess up. Nobody is perfect. 

This story takes place a moon after both redtail and oakheart died and firepaw has been in Thunderclan for a bit. As you recall, he wasn't on the gathering patrol while Sandpaw and Dustpaw was.  Brokenstar didn't murder his father in this AU as he grew up with the love and care of Yellowfang instead of Lizardstripe. Since Yellowfang was rejected to be a medicine cat, she stayed a warrior. Since Brokenstar isn't evil, the kits he murdered is alive and well, as well as Yellowfang's other two kits since she was in the nursery and Sagewhisker saved them. Enjoy and please comment if you have any questions or to point out any mistakes. Also I change Mistyfoot,Mosskit and Stonefur names. Makes no sense for Greypool and Oakheart not to change their names since Bluestar did reveal the names to ThunderClan.  Also the allegiance might change due to me having to read all the books to see which shadowclan cats is still alive and might change the other clans' members cuz of new and future books. Apparently Wolfstep was still alive yet no mention of him until moonrise. Ugh. why did we have to stick to ThunderClan for so long. Makes writing other clans harder.Right now I'm reading Leopardstar's honor to get a clear list of who was alive during the prophecy begins arc. And now Onestar Confession is coming out as well which took place during around that time so might update WindClan allegiance too.  And changing snowkit and mistlekit to be born in the first book so they still be young kits later. So think of them just being born. 

 Also I have a job so updating will be very slow as I can't work on it during my work days. Just letting you readers know. This story isn't going to be dropped either as I want a good ShadowClan AU out there. Even if I have to write it myself.
