We'd been walking for about 2 and a half hours now. Ezra would constantly tell me that it wasn't too far and that we where quite close. Lauren also, constantly told Ezra to stop lying.

They'd been arguing like this non-stop. I was getting rather annoyed at this, but I just continued walking, trying my best to ignore their constant squabbling.

"We have at least half an hour until we're there!"

"See, almost there!"

This is what it was like, for 2 and a half bloody hours now. I would have been able to let them continue like this, if I had my headphones. But, of course, they where in my bag and I blew up the engineering department, so, no more headphones.

5 more minutes go by. They still haven't stopped. "Could you two shut up!? I'm tired. I have been traveling since around 12:45, plus being chased by police most of the way through the south, it is now 11:45pm and you two have not stopped senselessly arguing for 2 and a half hours. So please, for the love of what little sanity I have left, shut the fuck up."

I took a minute to calm down. Neither of them said a word. We continued walking in a comfortable silence for me, and a very awkward and hate-filled silence for them. But at this point, anything is better than them two acting like children on a playground arguing over who gets to keep a long lost hot wheels car that was found in the dirt.
It is rather agitating.

Roughly 28 minutes later we reach a woods, they both start checking round wherever they walk. Once we finally make it up the hill of the woods, I look around. There's a big clearing with woods all around the sides. There's a beach a little further on. In the middle of the clearing, 12 cabins in a semicircle. Closer to where we are is a house that is at least 3 story's tall, painted blue, witch has seemingly faded since being painted.

"Yuki Lockwood, welcome to camp half-blood!" Lauren and Ezra say in unison.

I stare at them, trying to process the information, "I'm sorry, camp- what??"

"Camp half-blood. Almost Every kid you see here is a demi god, a child of a Greek god or goddess and a mortal, otherwise they are nymphs and satyrs." Ezra starts explaining the camp and who People are.
"No, no no. Backtrack a bit. Gods? Nymphs? Satyrs? Ezra, now is now the time for pranks okay? I am tired."

"Oh, Yuki, he's not pranking you. It's all true. I am a daughter of Athena, goddess of-" I cut Lauren off.

"Yes, yes, I quite well know who Athena is and what she is the goddess of. I'm more confused on why you brought me here. I am a mortal. A normal human."

Ezra shakes his head, "you've gone past the barrier. Only half-bloods and greek 'mythological' beings can pass through." Lauren sighs.

"Ezra, only beings that are allowed or invited can enter. Half bloods, satyrs, nymphs, sentaurs and of course, gods. These are all of the beings that can walk right through."

I sit down on the side of the hill, trying to process all of this information at once.

If the gods are real, then someone has to explain all of this. Why was that 'fire' green? What is this camp for? Who runs this place? And most importantly, who is my father?
