A quarter past ten we're parking the car outside the park I used to spend a lot of time at when I was little. It's pretty abadonded now with grass almost reaching my knees at some spots, but it's still just as beautiful as last time I was here. The grass is green and covered with white, pink & purple flowers and the trees has just let out it's leaves. Four lanterns lights up the park and it's two swings.

"This place is cozy" Adnan says while stepping out of the car.
"Yeah, I used to be here a lot with my dad and younger sister. It was like our little place you know" I smile, getting lost in my memories for a while.
"Was?" He points out while folding out a blanket we bought at the supermarket.

I get a little clump in my throat and takes out some chocolate-dipped strawberries and a bottle of champange before sitting down on the blanket. Adnan takes a strawberry and gives me a questioning look.

"Yeah, he died two years ago by a heart-attack. One day he was here and the next thing I know is mum sitting on the couch telling me he's dead." I take a deep breath before continuing. "I didn't even get the chance to say goodbye, or apologise for the fight we had the same day." I say and feel a tear rolling down my cheek.
"Oh Des" Adnan says and hugs me.
"He lived such a healthy life and died anyway. It's after that I started drinking and partying, since what the hell if I live healthy or not? I'm still gonna die someday so why not enjoy being alive?"

Adnan doesn't say a word, just sits there hugging me and plays with my hair. And it's everything I need.

"Gosh I need alcohol" I laugh and open the champange.
"Eventually even alcohol can't solve your problems, you should get help. Go see a therapist or something"
"You sound like my conselour" I laugh.
"Maybe" he grin.
"Oh, by the way" I start and take up my phone. "Mum wants me to start telling her when I come, she's suffered too many nights waiting for me to come home when I didn't".
"But you will today, right?"
"Yes, just don't want her to sit up".
"Your changing!" He jokes and ruffs my hair.
"I guess I am" I laugh.

We sit and talk for about half an hour until I'm shaking from the cold. He gives me his jacket and we start packing together our stuffs and jumps back into his car.

He drives me home and even follows me inside and talks a while with my mum until the clock is almost half past eleven. We hug eachother goodbye and he leaves.

Mum looks at me with a big smile.

"I like that one, is he your boyfriend?" She says.
"No, we're just friends" I answer.
"Really? The two of you would be really cute together!"
"Stop it mum, he's my friend and that's it" I laugh.
"Well we'll see about that! But time to go to bed, school tomorrow" she smiles and hugs me goodnight before walking in to her bedroom.

I remove my makeup, brush my teeth and change into a pink pyjamas. I'm just about to sleep when I suddenly get a text from an unknown number.

Hi, it's Nate, from the italian place! Wanna go out someday?
I'm a little chocked by his text at first, I had almost forgotten that I met him earlier today. Hii! eah sure, how fun! What about tomorrow?:)
Sorry, got gym tomorrow, Tuesday?;*
Sure, CU then!

I roll my eyes a bit when he types that he's going to the gym, but it's still a little cute that he's trying to impress me. I set the alarm for tomorrow and closes my eyes. This has been a strange weekend.

Short chapter, sorry, but I'll try to write some longer ones tomorrow. Thanks for reading!❤️
