Confused.

"Uhm Eddie, I gotta change, and so do you. It's smelling ripe in here.."
"Uh, yeah." He said.
"Let's raid ricks house." He said

Eddies POV

We walked to ricks house, but the stupid door was locked.
"Hold on, ill go look for a screwdriver." She said
She walked away, and after a few minutes I hear a mad "oh my god."
I walked in and one of the boats were broken.
"What happened?"
"I was reaching for the screwdriver a huge, like tub fell, and broke the boat, then I went to find like tape, to fix the bottom of it and the whole shelf fell, breaking the whole thing."
"Where am I gonna sleep?" I asked.
"I guess on the boat. We can share."
"Ok, well let's go open the door."
We walked over to the door, again and used the screwdriver, but it didn't work.
"I'm just gonna knock it in." I said " go for it."
I knocked it in, but as soon as the door fell, so did I.
I fell onto of the door and my head hit it.
"OMG EDDIE!" Ruby said laughing.
I burst out laughing.
She was laughing so hard she fell down.
We both laid down on the door laughing.
It was so peaceful.

Ruby's POV

Eddie was my best friend, actually, not was.

Edward Munson, is my best friend, My only friend.
After we got up from laughing after 5 minutes, Eddie said "Dude I'm starving, aren't you?And we gotta change."
"Yeah. I'm really hungry." I said while nodding.
"Want spaghettio's?" He questioned,
"Whatever you want, I'm going to watch, uhm hold on." I said while while looking at all the movies to choose from.
" I'm going to watch Friday The 13th." I emphasized Friday The 13th in a deep voice.
"Well hold on till I'm done with our dinner." He said sarcastically.
I turned on the movie and pressed pause, waiting for Eddie.
He walked over with some out of the can spaghettio's.
"No more bowls." He said
He gave me a spoon and I started the movie.
The movie honestly wasn't very scary, just scary enough to make you jump, or scream.
We were watching the movie and then a jumpscare happened.
I screamed, and as soon as I was done screaming, we heard the door open.
We ran into the bedroom, every time I got nervous, or scared I cried, loud.
We sat on the floor, if this was Jason he would kill me and Eddie, everyone saw Eddie carry me to his car.
Everyone knew I was at his house that night.
I was a murder accomplice in or even worse a murderer in everyone's eyes.
I started sobbing, so loud everyone in the neighborhood could hear it.
Eddie quickly wrapped his hand around my mouth, a sign to shut up.
Muffled sobs was all i could here until I heard. "check the bedroom."
I gasped, Eddie whispered, "Lock the door."
So I did.
Then Eddie got up slowly and quietly opened the window, steps walking closer.
"Come on, Ruby. Lady's first." I hopped out the window, and helped Eddie out.
We ran into the shed, and got on the boat, there was on paddle.
"Eddie can you paddle?"
"I can try!"
"WELL THEN GO!"
Eddie started to paddle I laughed because he was horrible at it, and because I thought we had lost them.
Boy, was I wrong.
I saw Jason and Patrick running out of the house chasing the boat, not long after they had taken off their suits, and were starting to swim.
Eddie tried the engine.
"Please work, please help me out here." He said while pulling the string.
"EDDIE, JUST PADDLE ITS NOT GONNA WORK."
He obliged and started paddling, Patrick and Jason were right behind us.
Then, Patrick got pulled underwater.
Me and Eddie looked at each other, confused.
Then he shot back up.
We fell in the water, knowing exactly what's happening, but still.
Confused.
Jason then spoke.
"YOU BOTH ARE THE DEVIL."
devil?
Eddie ignored him.
But I couldn't. I was the devil?
We,
we're the devil?
Eddie yelled, "FOLLOW ME RUBY."

Eddies POV

She was frozen again.
But I couldn't pick her up, but I could, I could drag her.
So that's what I did.
I dragged her across the lake swimming with one hand.
When we finally made it to the land we were both soaked, and distraught.
We had to sit there.
All night.
Freezing.

Ruby's POV

It was so cold.
I couldn't sleep, every time I get scared I freeze.
I'm such an idiot.
He was exhausted.
We could've drowned.
Idiot.
Idiot.
Idiot.
Tears circled my eyes.
Eddie was asleep so I decided to walk away a bit so I could cry, and he could sleep.
I walked away,and found a nice place to cry.
Then I heard a yell.
"RUBY. RUBY?"
I heard someone then speak quietly.
"Oh my god. Oh my god. What if she's dead."
Their voice breaking every time they spoke.
I peeked a little, only seeing some socks.
She covered her mouth and waited for them to walk by.
Then she saw who it was, it was Eddie.
Sobbing..?
Then she realized.
He was looking for her.
"Eddie..?"
He whipped his head around, as soon as he saw her his eyes lit up.
"Rube?"
"Yeah it's me Ed's."
He ran over to me and picked me up hugging me.
"I thought I lost you."
"I thought you were gone."
