Running.

We had made it to the trailer park and we're walking into eddies room.
I was scared.
Steve went first and looked like he did a flip, which I think he did.
He had landed on his feet perfectly.
Then he got the mattress and dragged it under the gate.
"Does he want us to applaud?" Robin muttered moving her hands.
Then she got on her knee to help Nancy up.
She climbed up, and fell straight on the mattress.
Steve helped her up then we threw down the weapons.
Next, Eddie went, as soon as he hit the mattress Steve helped him up, then it was my turn.
I could barely climb up the ladder, but when I did it felt like I did 100 flips.
Eddie stuck his hand out to help me.
Then robin climbed through, then Dustin.
After everyone had climbed through and we got all the weapons, we prepared to do the other half of the plan.
Nancy, Robin, Steve, and I were going to go to the creel house.
We began walking, it felt like it had taken forever.

30 minutes later.

Finally when we had made it there I heard Eddie.
His guitar.
I was so scared, so I did something incredibly stupid.
"I'm sorry, I can't go with you guys I have to go back to Dustin and Eddie."
"What? Ruby what?" Steve said.
"I'm so sorry."
I began running.
Running back to Eddie.
Running back to the trailer park.
Running back to danger.
I was out of breath, but still I know that I have to keep running.
When I got there I saw Eddie being swarmed by the demo-bats.
Then I did something really stupid.
I grabbed a huge branch and threw it at the demo-bats.
When they stopped circling Eddie he looked confused, he looked around, then saw me.
His face dropped from confusion to fear.
Then the demo-bats stared running after me.
I was already out of breath from running, but I tried my best.
I smiled at Eddie, then ran.
I ran as fast as I could.
I heard Dustin screaming.
But then I felt something wrap around my throat, I screamed, then something wrap around my legs.
"EDDIE!"
I felt sharp teeth sink into my sides.
One tried to bite my neck but I grabbed it before it could.
Then a minute later, they had just stopped moving, and I couldn't.
I saw Eddie running up to me.
"Oh my god, Ruby?"
Then Dustin ran up to me.
"Ruby.." he said, tears in his eyes.
"Hey, I-I'm okay. Yea, I think I'm okay."
"No, we need to get you to a hospital."
"STEVE!" Dustin practically screamed.
"ow." I frowned.
"S-sorry, Im sorry."
"Why are you guys crying? Is it bad?"
"No, you're great- I mean you're doing great."
"Yeah, what Eddie said."
Then I saw Steve, Robin, and Nancy running to us.
"Oh my god." They all said.
"Well, that makes me feel g-reat guys." I said weakly.
"We need to get her to the real world."
"How?"
But before they could say how I passed out.
I woke up to see the rope in front of me.
"Ruby, you're awake. Listen, your gonna get on my shoulders ok? Then, Robin who will be on Steve's shoulders is gonna grab your hands and pull you into the real world." Eddie explained.
"This is so stupid." Nancy said.
Eddie shushed her then put me on his shoulders.
It hurt even worse then before.
"There's gonna be blood- in your hair." I said, taking a break to cough.
Then I saw Robin reaching her hands through the gate.
I grabbed them, and she pulled me, I yelped not expecting it and soon I felt myself falling on mattress.
"ow. That actually worked?"
"Woah." Robin whispered, after Steve helped me get back onto the couch in the real world Eddie came down.
And I closed my eyes again.
