Chapter 8:Upgrade,Recruit, and Reveal

As Fenix left to find his unknown friends, everyone was in thought of what to do. "This stinks, we get to stay while Fenix is having all the fun," Scarlett complained. "Well, I'm going, whether he or you guys like it or not, I lost him once I ain't losing him again," Anya said while going outside. "Anya wait," Bombus Prime said. Anya stopped in her tracks, knowing full well to not disobey a prime. "We all know the loss of someone we hold close, but I understand why you decide to go. It is best that you not go alone, " Bombus Prime said. Anya was shocked to hear that Bombus Prime is allowing her to go. "Brother, are you certain it will be safe for her?" Airachnid said. "If Anya were to go alone, no, but I am allowing the children to go along. Even allowing Miko to do her as she calls it, the sneak and run. But if they do not want to, then that is their choice, " Bombus Prime said. The children were all deep in thought, joining Fenix or remaining at the base. "Well, I'm going. He's my best friend and my brother, so if anyone should be by his side, it should be me, " Dom said. "Well, Miko, I guess there's no point in doing your old trick again," Jack said teasingly. Miko just chuckled while she playfully punched Jack on his shoulder. Soon Myers, Scarlett, Emily, Raf, Ezra, and Sabine agreed and went with Anya, but Fenix's siblings were still in thought. They wanted to tag along but knew that their brother wouldn't accept them. "And you three are not going, why?" Bombus Prime questioned the three siblings. "It's not that we don't want to it's just that, Fenix is still angry for what we did and maybe if we haven't overreacted than he wouldn't have become a lone wolf bounty hunter" Bethany said. Bombus eyes started to glow white while returning to his normal eye color. "Son, what did you do?" Elita said. "I have seen the outcome of a different path. If you have not kept in line, Fenix would still become the mysterious person," Bombus Prime said. "Wait, you mean to say that you can see the future and the different choices we make and their impacts, well that's just prime," Optimal Optimus said surprisingly. Bombus Prime knelt while he began to discuss with Fenix's siblings. "Fenix is still your brother, regardless of what you think and know, we all most take responsibility for our actions and own up to them," Bombus Prime said. Jones, Amanda, and Bethany were in thought of what to do, but they know exactly what to do. They got their gear and went out to join their brother in his little journey. "Bombus, it would be best if we send one of our soldiers to go with them," Thundertron said. "I share your statement, but we must be cautious. Knowing Megatron, he has sent some decepticons patrolling the sky's and possibly using his scanner on the nemesis as well, " Bombus Prime said. "My son speaks true, Megatron will stop at nothing to find us, and when he does, he will try to get information out of us," Elita said. "Besides, Fenix can transform into Carnivore if anything were to go wrong," Kanan said. "Speaking of which, how did you come upon finding a human that turned into a powerful beast?" Silverbolt said. Everyone looked to Bombus Prime while he let out a sigh. "He found us, he was the grandson of the one that turn him into what he is right now, cannibalized Breakdown, tried to gut my wife, stole my t-cog, and made a evil version of my father. MECH and their leader Silas, Fenix killed him, but what Silas has done has affected us all, " Bombus Prime explained. There was a moment of silence Ratchet came and put a servo on Bombus' shoulder. "We all have been through a lot, the energon war with the cons, losing Cliff, the predacon fossil hunt, Silas, and now this. To this day or the next, I will fight until the last decepticon has been terminated. Now that our home has been restored to its glory, I finally have a reason to fight, " Ratchet said. Bombus looked at Ratchet while he revealed his face, and he put his servo on Ratchet's shoulder. Before anyone could say or do anything, an alarm went on while Overclock checked the computer while an all too familiar symbol appeared. "An autobot signal, but how do they know where we are?" Overclock said.

They all went outside from the base and saw a warship landing in front of them. While the hatch was opening, the autobots prepared themselves in case it was a setup, but the figure of the one coming out of the warship was all too familiar. "Well, I guess should have expected a more welcoming committee, ha ha," the figure said. The autobots deactivated their weapons as soon as they heard that voice. "Maccadam," Bombus Prime said while walking towards him. "Ha ha, Bumblebee, I see you have become the next prime, just like your father," Maccadam said while shaking Bombus' hand. "I am Bombus Prime now, but I will allow anyone to call me by my previous name. What brings you to earth, old friend? " Bombus said. "Ha ha, humor an old bot. You know I was always the mysterious type of bot back at my oil house, " Maccadam said. "With that no fighting policy, something that I respect and admire from you, Maccadam," Ratchet said. Maccadam nodded while stepping on the soil ground of earth, and as he was walking, he saw the humans and a lasat. "Ah, so these are the humans, and I see you have met the lasat. Hmm, they look smaller than I thought they would, " Maccadam said, kneeling to their level. "Wait, how do you know what I am?" Zeb said. "Maccadam is known for saying anything that comes to mind, and sometimes it comes true after a few years," Elita said. Before anyone could say anything, they heard footsteps coming from warship, and they saw some more familiar faces. They saw 2 groups of 5 and 2 groups of 6, and the autobots immediately knew who they were. "Protectobots, Aerialbots, Rust Renegades, Technobots, I see that you have accompanied Maccadam on your way here to earth," Bombus Prime said. "Ha ha, Mac wasn't kidding. You really have become a Prime," the leader of the protectobots said. Bombus and the leader shaked hands while the leader laughed. "Uh Bee, Bombus, would you like to introduce us to these friends of yours" June Darby said. "Apologies, June Darby, these are the Protectobots, Hot Spot, Blades, First Aid, Streetwise, and Rook. The Technobots, Scattershot, Strafe, Nosecone, Afterbreaker, and Lightspeed. The Aerialbots, Silverbolt, Air Raid, Alpha Bravo, Firefly, Skydive, and Powerglide. The Rust Renegades, Pyra Magna, Stormclash, Skyburst, Dustup, Jumpstream, and Rust Dust. And finally this is Maccadam, owner of Mac's Oil House and a very old friend of mine and my family, " Bombus said, introducing the new recruits. "Indeed, but before I forget, we brought in six more bots and a few minicons. The minicons wished to be left alone, and I respected their decision, but their leader said that he knew Optimus Prime, " Maccadam said. "Six more bots, well why aren't they coming out?" Agent Fowler said. The arrived autobots looked at one another with looks of worry, while Bombus understood who they were speaking of. "He's alive. He and his team, " Bombus said. "Brother, who are you talking about?" Airachnid said. "Yeah, why the sudden tenseness?" Hera said. "Bring them out," Bombus ordered. Hot Spot nodded while he and his crew went back in the warship to get 6 huge stasis pods. Bombus was about to open them until he was stopped by Maccadam. "Apologies, old friend, but I forgot to mention that their minds aren't as stable when we found them," Maccadam said. Bombus nodded in understandment while he began to open the pods, and the autobots prepared themselves. Once the pods were open, the 6 cybertronians fell out. "Woah, I forgot how big they are when we were fighting together," Bulkhead said. "Is it me, or do they look a bit bigger than before?" Elita said. Before anyone could say anything, the biggest bot woke up and began to stand up, making everyone back up. He roared while he charged at the protectobots while his team woke up instantly and did the same to the other bots. "Woah woah easy Grimlock, it's us, the autobots, you're friends," Jazz said. Grimlock only roared while landed a punch at Jazz, but he missed making Grimlock punch the ground that made a big hole. "By the matrix, I don't recall him being that strong," Ratchet said. "It would seem these comrades have gotten an upgrade," Thundertron said while fighting a spiky one. Airachnid and Arcee were fighting a female one, but she has proven to be stronger than she looks. "I'm guessing this is their new member of their team. And she is a vicious one, " Airachnid said while firing her webs. The female member got caught in the web, but she easily tear the web apart. "Impossible," Airachnid said, shocked. The female member roared while she charged at Airachnid until Arcee jumped on her back and fired her blasters behind her neck. "Sludge, Snarl, easy there, it's us." Bulkhead tried to reason with them but ended up being thrown to the wall. "Swoop, Slug, snap out of it," Ironhide said. "That's it, protectobots combine into Defensor," Hot Spot said. Rook went right and Streetwise went left as they turned into legs, Hot Spot jumped while transforming into a torso, and First Aid jumped on Hot Spot left shoulder becoming an arm along with Blades becoming the right arm. "Defensor, online," he said. "The protectobots have the right idea. Rust Renegades combine into Victorion, " Pyra Magna said. Skyburst and Stormclash became legs, Pyra Magna became the torso, Dust Up and Jumpstream became the arms, and finally, Rust Dust became the chestplace. "Victorion, online," she said. "Aerialbots, you know the drill. Combine into Superion, " Silverbolt said. Alpha Bravo and Firefly became legs, Silverbolt became the torso, Air Raid and Skydive became the arms, and finally, Powerglide became their weapon, a blaster. "Superion, online," he said. "Oh, it's on. Technobots combine into Computron, " Scattershot said. Lightspeed and Nosecone turned into legs, Scattershot became the torso, and finally Afterbreaker and Strafe became the arms. "Computron, online," he said. Grimlock roared while he and his team changed at the combiners while also the rest of the autobots. When Grimlock felt like he was about to get defeated, he and his team transformed into something that surprised them all. Grimlock transformed into a T-rex, Slug transformed into a Triceratops, Snarl transformed into a Stegosaurus, Sludge transformed into a Brontosaurus, Swoop transformed into a Teradactyl, and finally the female member transformed into a Velociraptor. "Holy slag, hey Dinobot, I guess we know who your ancestor is," Rattrap said. "A big and ferocious warrior such as this Grimlock, yes, I believe now I see why I joined the maximals," Dinobot said. Slug charged right at them while Snarl came behind doing tail strikes. Sludge slammed his front legs on the ground, making a tremor while Swoop dive bomb from the sky. The female member began running around, making the autobots confused while she struck them down. Grimlock pounded his legs, did a tail swipe, and he also breathed fire to melt the autobots. "Since when can they do that?" Defensor said. "Scanning individuals. Scan complete. Cause of new alt forms: Shockwave, " Computron said while punching Slug and Sludge. "Shockwave did experiments on them? Well, that does make a lot more sense, " Victorion said. Showdown slammed his hammer at Grimlock head, but unfortunately, Grimlock didn't even flinch, and he rammed Showdown to the wall. Grimlock began to see the autobots coming at them slowly, so he knew what to do. "Combine," he said. Snarl and Sludge transformed into legs, Grimlock transformed into a torso, Slug and Swoop transformed into arms, and finally, the female member transformed into an arm blaster "Oh, frag," Superion said. "They transformed into a combiner," Victorion said in awe. The dino combiner unleashed a powerful roar while it fired upon the autobots. "Since when did they achieve such power?" Ultra Magnus said while firing his rifle at it. The dino combiner continued on stomping and firing at the autobots until Bombus decided to take action. He ran towards the incoming fire and jumped towards the combiner until it saw Bombus and landed a punch all the way to the mountain. "No," Arcee shouted. Everyone stood silent until the dino combiner's fist began to move slowly and saw Bombus pushing it. Everyone was in complete shock to see their leader pushing away a combiner's fist while the dino combiner got angry. As Bombus pushed the combiner's fist away, he jumped towards his face, looking straight at the combiner's optics. "Time to restore your minds, old friends," Bombus said while unleashing his power. The dino combiner began to feel the effects, and it collapsed into the ground while decombining in the process. Bombus landed safely on the ground while going to the dinobots. "Hold your fire," Bombus said to the autobots. As Bombus got close to the dinobots that had been decombined, Grimlock stood up and walked straight towards Bombus. "Bum... Bumblebee, " he said. Bombus smiled while he extended his hand, and Grimlock grabbed it while they shook hands. "Ow, I got the biggest headache to end all headaches," Swoop said. Grimlock walked back to his team to help them up while the autobots came close and the combiners decombined. "Grimlock, what made you go, all berserk?" Ratchet said. "Shockwave's experiments," Grimlock said while helping the female member. "Yeah, he done did it this time. When we were captured, Shockwave decided to play mad scientist with us. He was experimenting on us by giving us these new alt forms, " Swoop said. "And after the ark departed, we remained on cybertron for a while to see if there are any autobot refugees. Luckily, we were able to find a few, " Slug said. "Then all of a sudden we just turned feral, like if something or someone triggered us to attack anyone or anything," Snarl said. "Our bet is that Shockwave had something to do with it, thanks to his experimentation on us," Sludge said. "And during journey, we found new recruit for team. This is Slash, " Grimlock said while introducing the female member. Slash took a few steps forward and saw the autobots while also seeing humans and a lasat. "Grimlock told me that we would be fighting together with the autobots. He didn't mention anything on fighting with sacks of meat," Slash said. "It's a long story, but Grimlock, how and when did you and your team achieve the ability to combine?" Ratchet said. Grimlock opened his chest plate and took out an artifact. "By the matrix, it couldn't be," Pyra Magna said. "The enigma of combination. The true origin of our combiner, yours, and the decepticons, " Grimlock said while putting the enigma back in his chest plate. "Well, I'll say that it is being kept in safe hands," Ultra Magnus said. "It seems that the combiner you six transform into could arm wrestle a titan, but that would mean that you could wipe out an entire decepticon army with collateral damage," Scattershot said. Before anyone could say anything, a cybertronian eagle flew out of the warship while gaining the intention of the autobots, and it landed next to a group of minicons. "Oh, where are my manners, my friends this is Aerobolt and his team: Bashbreaker, Buzzstrike, Lancelon, Sawtooth, Tricerashot, and Windstrike" Maccadam said while introducing the minicons. "I know who you are, Bombus Prime, formerly known as Bumblebee, the son of Optimus Prime. What your friend said is true, we wished to remain undisturbed, but with the decepticons at large, we have all agreed to take action, " Aerobolt said. "We were experimented by Megatron, but ever since we heard that he was destroyed and later revived, he forgot all about us," Buzzstrike said. "The dinobots found us back at Megatron's lab, we thought they were with the decepticons, we controlled them to fight one another, but Grimlock here resisted my controll on him" Tricerashot said. "After a brief fight, we managed to calm down a notch. A few years later, something snapped in them, nearly resisted our control, Maccadam and his friends found us, and here we are," Sawtooth said. Bombus looked at his old and new members, though he knew the decepticons would have a bigger army, the autobots who have arrived is more than enough. "Tomorrow, we will begin scanning some vehicles for you all, as well as training for our fight with the decepticons. For now, let us rest," Bombus said.
