During the summer holidays I had to prepare a lot of activities for boys, because it's not healthy for them to stay on their tablets. The school gave them homework for the vacation, which is a book with exercises from the main subjects separated in the weeks. Next to this we created a board with other activities that we can do and boys can collect stars for every finished activity in five days.

1. Paper tulips 🌷

Age of kids: 4+
You need: paper rolls, scissors, colors, brushes 🖌
I allways liked to use things that other people put in a bin. For this we used paper rolls from toilet paper. I cutted the shape of tulips and boy's used colours to paint it. We separated four colors so every tulip is different.

2. Paper houses 🏘

Age of kids: 6+
You need: house shapes, scissors, glue, colors
We had this work separated, N had one big house with four rooms on two floors. It was made from some company so it had a lot of features, like furniture, pets, people and garden.
V on the other hand had small houses in different colours, it was harder for him so I had to help a lot. After finishing the houses we took a frame without the glass and we painted the board so it looked as streets and grass. Then we put the houses on with the glue and I made a tree 🌳 and fountain.

3. Herbarium

Age of kids: 2+
You need: blank book or notebook 📓, flowers, heavy books, glue or duck tape, pencils
This is one of the easiest art projects we ever did. With kids you pick up flowers and at home you choose how to put them in between two pages of heavy book. Good tips are use last pages and fold a paper and put the flowers in between, you won't have the pages ruined. After two days the flowers will be dried and flat, with glue or duck tape youput it in the book. Then you write the names and kids can try to draw them.

4. Pillowcases

Age of kids: 6+
You need: textil markers, pillow case or T- shirts
For some time now, I have a textil markers so our idea was to take something that boys can use every day and put some colors on it. Na bought a fabric for a pillowcases with Globe 🌎 theme, continents and animals.

5. Trees

Age of kids: 5+
You need: leaves 🍃, painting colors 🎨, brushes, paper, paper rolls from toilet paper, scissors
Paper should be size A5 and the leaves not bigger than 10 cm. You start with painting the other side of the leave and putting it on the paper. It's better to put all leaves in one way, for example find on the paper half of the one side and put all the leaves this way. Then you paint the paper roll with brown and when it's dry you cut 1-2 cm from the top down on two sides oposit each other. When the color from the leaves is dried, you just cut around to make a better shape of tree 🌳.
