prologue

Before you knew it everything and everyone around you had disappeared.
It seemed as if you were alone. Until you heard someone call your name, "Brooke!"
You spun around in shock to see no one but the love of your life: Henry Daniel Mills.
You ran up to him and hugged him tightly, knowing that you were no longer alone.
He pulled away. "Where is everyone?"
I shrugged. "I don't know. What the hell happened?!"
"Beats me"
Then a sudden rush of worry appeared on Henry's face. "But they've taken my family."
I put my hand on his back and rubbed it. "It's okay, Henry. We're gonna find them."
He nodded.
"Have you got any ideas how?"
Henry then looked up within a heartbeat. "Yes. Come with me."

Henry took you to a car. "Hop in."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "What are you-?"
"Just get it."
Following his order, I got in the car. Henry sat in the drivers seat and found the keys.
"You know how to drive?!"
He tilted his head whilst starting the engine. "You could say that."
