Tony had remained clean for 4 days, mostly because he hadn't left the house and had handed all his drugs over to Steve. Though the amount he was craving any sort of drug began to physically hurt.
"Tony?" Bucky called, raising an eyebrow at the boy who seemed as if he was in another world. His spoon was in his bowl but his head was raised staring out the window, completely frozen in time. "Tony." Bucky walked over placing a palm on the boys shoulder.
"Huh?" He gasped, raising his eyebrows in shock.
"What's up?" Bucky pulled out the chair beside Tony staring at him with a confused expression.
"Sorry, i just. Just a bit dazed, sorry." Tony rambled glancing down at his untouched bowl of cereal.
"It's okay, don't worry." Bucky suspected the issue, he himself had never been one for drugs but he'd seen some of his friends suffer with withdrawal symptoms. "You feel like going out today?"
"Not really, sorry." Tony apologised again, rubbing his eyes. "You want this?" Tony glanced up at him referring the the cereal.
"Not hungry, bear?" Bucky asks.
"Sorry, i just don't feel like it." Tony shrugged, slouching back in his chair. "Could i sit in the back garden for a bit?"
"Course'." Bucky tried to smile, pressing a kiss against Tony's curls. "I'll wash up."
"Thanks Bucky." Tony smiled, slowly sitting up to walk a outside. He had a slight limp though Bucky dismissed it, going to drain the cereal. Tony sat down in a lounge chair, kicking his feet back and closing his eyes, the sun rays on his skin made him melt in comfort, he sighed finally being at rest.
Until the birds started singing.
Usually it was a calming sound, and to many it would remain to be that calming sound. Though something about the repetitive chirping made his skin itch, he physically couldn't take the noise anymore. He got up feeling completely enraged by the disruption holding himself back from yelling at the top of his lungs. The irritating sound didn't decrease, and no matter where he looked the garden was surrounded by trees, there wasn't a chance he could locate the creatures."Fuck you." He muttered, rushing inside to avoid the noise, that's where the dizziness sprang at him, he held onto the sides of the door feeling his knees go weak. "Steve.." Tony attempted to call out, noticing the shakiness in his voice. There wasn't a reply. "Bucky," Tony tried to yell but it was much closer to a whisper, no response. He sighed, edging forward while the room spun around him, he made it to the entrance of the living room, completely and utterly alarmed by the dramatic movement around him.
"Tony?" Steve asked, rotating his head from the TV to the teenager. Bucky copied this movement, matching Steve's concerned expression. "You need to sit down?"
"I.. Yeah." Tony sighed before completely collapsing onto his knees.
"Tony!" Steve yelled, running round the sofa.
"What happened, bear?" Bucky asked frantically, jumping over the back rest of the sofa.
"m' fine. fine, okay." He sighed, moving one of his knees to stand up before completely falling limp onto his side.
"Fuck." Bucky gasped, pulling Tony into his arms cradling his head. "You in there?"
"Ver' verr.. er.. dizzy." Tony sighed, unable to pronounce the words without slurring them.
"Have you taken anything els-" Steve was quickly cut off.
"It's withdrawal, his body adapted to the drugs, kept him going. And now we've abruptly taken them away from him, his body will retaliate." Bucky explained, picking Tony up without hesitation.
"Down, buck.. pu' me down.." Tony tried to fight agaisnt the man's grip though gave in after realising they were going to his room. "Sorry.."
"For what?" Bucky asked, glancing down at him.
"Me." Tony replied, "And my shi'.I'm sorry."
"Close your eyes, Tones." Bucky ordered, and surprisingly Tony complied. "That's it." Bucky eased the boy down onto his bed, watching tony curl up into his duvet.
(sorry it's so short<3)
