"Fuck! No, no, no-"

"Malfunction. Malfunction. Please, change the course."

"Go up, go up! Up!"

"Collision in five, four-"

"Please, no, no!"

"-three, two-"

...one...

And as his ship hit the ground, he lost consciousness.

...

When Jin woke up, the first thing he realized that... he woke up. He wasn't dead, he was breathing and very much alive.

The second thing he realised was that he had no idea where he was. Maybe he was too quick to judge and he was in heaven? One thing was for sure - this wasn't how he imagined it.

He scanned his surroundings. He was in some kind of tent, whose walls were beige. There were painted symbols and pictures with red. Opposite of him, there was a fire pit, a few clay dishes and a big vessel, probably for water. Clothes (not just his) were neatly folded next to the bed. He was lying on a bed nearly twice as big as him and his naked body was covered with a blanket.

His eyes widened in horror as he realized that that creature that put him there must've seen everything, completely everything. He pushed the blanket up, towards his chin.

He looked around one more time, his heart beating fast. He was on an unknown planet, alone and now naked. There were some organisms living here that were intelligent and big, based on the fact that they pulled him out of the ship. Through the adrenaline, he didn't feel his head pounding.

Suddenly someone came in. Jin widened his eyes as he saw a figure of a man, who looked just a human. Only he was huge. He was much taller and stronger than Jin as if you took a man and zoomed on him in real life.

He smiled gently at the shorter man and put the boughs down, "Chux giit?"

Jin didn't understand a word out of that question. He squeezed the sheets, as the giant walked towards him. The latter sat down on the bed next to Jin, who was the furthest away from his, his back touching the wall behind.

"Apur pena?"

"Um, I'm sorry, I don't understand," Jin said and the latter nodded his head as he realized that they didn't share a language. He put his own hand on his chest.

"Namjoon," he said and then pointed at the scared boy, "Apu?"

"Jin," he answered and the other nodded, smiling.

"Apur pena quiwa oš." (Your name is pretty.)

Jin only smiled, still not understanding a word. Namjoon cupped his face with his huge hands, studying it. He placed a green leaf-kind-of-thing on his forehead and the shorter hissed as he now realized how much his head hurt. The taller laid his head down. And as the boy closed his eyes, his brain immediately shut down.

When he woke up again, he didn't panic as much as before. He still didn't know a thing about this planet or those creatures but Namjoon, if he understood correctly that that was the latter's name, seemed harmless.

As he sat up, the blanket uncovered his torso. He grabbed his clothes from the pile and put them on, the black suit wrapping around his figure tightly. His head was better than before now but he still wasn't one hundred percent okay.

Namjoon came in and smiled at the latter, as he saw him in much better condition.

"Tuuq?"

Jin only smiled back, while the other sat down and handed him a bowl. He looked at it and nodded, as he saw a meal that people would call 'soup'. He bowed down and sat beside the creature, drinking it slowly. Namjoon was watching his Adam's apple jump with every gulp and his closed eyes as he was devouring his meal.

And as he finished, he handed the bowl back to the other, who smiled and washed it with water. He got up and walked out of the tent. His mouth parted as he looked around, scanning the very very tall trees, the green bushes, and the dusty road. There were a few tents in the distance but what amazed him was how huge everything was. It looked very like Earth but it was at least two times bigger - the flowers, the trees, the people.

Tears filled his eyes as this felt very similar, too similar to his home. He hadn't been there for over ten years and he couldn't come back but this was a breath from the past that ruffled his hair. He wanted to scream in happiness and yet he felt sad as he knew that this was not Earth. This was-

What even was this planet?

Namjoon stood right next to him, looking at his face. His eyes went up and down and when they met, the giant smiled kindly at the latter. Jin felt so small next to him.

He began to walk, looking around at the trees, plants and other dwellings. Namjoon followed him in silence, the communication barrier between them. He looked at him and stopped as he tried to ask him where his ship was. He pointed at the sky, then imitated something falling and pointed at himself. Namjoon nodded and walked to the direction. Jin almost ran behind him because of his short human legs.

They walked for several minutes but got there. Jin immediately spotted his ship and his eyebrows furrowed. He wanted to cry because as he saw the vehicle, he knew he wouldn't get home. He was probably stuck here forever. He fell on his knees and sobbed, feeling hopeless.

Namjoon didn't know what to do. He panicked as he was watching the poor human crying. He placed his big hand on his back and patted Jin lightly, trying to calm him down. He wanted to tell him comforting words but he realised they didn't understand each other.

There was silence between them. Jin got up and walked towards the damaged ship, wiping his tears. He walked in, looking around at how damaged the inside was. Namjoon followed him as he watched the latter trying to push on buttons. He tilted his head, not understanding any of the things on display since their language and alphabet were completely different.

He was intrigued by the much shorter boy. He had never seen any grown man being so small. He considered the other being cute and felt the need to protect him. Everything, even predators were much bigger. He knew Jin wouldn't stand a chance against him.

He wished he could talk with the shorter. Where did he come from? How old was he? What was his planet like? They seemed like intelligent species, looking at the ship, but probably weren't that close to nature anymore. He wished he could tell him about his own culture, people, traditions. But for now on, he had to get comfortable with the silence they shared.

The display was so small to his hand. He felt so tall and huge in this space, where he had to lower himself not to hit his head. He barely fit through the door.

Jin pushed the buttons and a female voice said something out loud. He furrowed his eyebrows as he rubbed his head. Namjoon was watching him, wanting to help but not understanding a single thing about this travelling thing.

Jin walked out and the latter followed him, finally straightening his back once they were outside. The shorter didn't go back to the village, as Namjoon had expected, he just began to walk in a random direction. The birds were singing, the rocks under their feet were another thing making a sound. A warm breeze was caressing their hair and skin, while the sun was slowly getting ready to go to bed. It was nice weather, nicer than on Earth during spring.

As they were walking, Jin noticed that the air scent is changing. The flowers' blossoms were closing their leaves to the visitors as the day was slowly coming to an end. He looked back and saw Namjoon walking behind him.

They eventually arrived at the beach. As he heard the feisty water hitting the rocks, he took his shoes off. He felt the warm sand between his toes as he walked towards the shore. He was looking at the painting nature had created with all the beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange as he let the last ray of light shine on his skin. It felt like home.

Namjoon was standing afar, looking around and at Jin, who was bathing in the warmth. Every single thing suddenly fell into the background, as the wind carried his thoughts to the boy. He couldn't help but think about the beauty the other carried as the sun was drawing onto his tan skin.

And as Jin turned around and wind played with his hair, deep down in his stomach he felt as if the Earth stopped spinning...
