Five.

Jin heard the beast's heavy breathing getting louder.

Four.

Namjoon ran. Jin kept his eyes closed. The animal followed them.

Three.

They would not make it. They would not make it. They would not make it.

Two.

Namjoon pushed himself more. Jin prayed. He squeezed his eyes shut.

One...

"Jin?"

The boy opened his eyes. He saw Namjoon, who was hovering over him. He now realized how much he was trembling, that his cheeks were wet and how frightened he felt. The latter gently caressed his cheek, smiling a little.

Jin wrapped his arms around his big torso, squeezing him in his arms and sobbed. He felt even smaller, weaker and the latter was the only thing that made him feel like he wasn't.

Namjoon was taken aback a little but he hugged him back, stroking his back gently. The latter was trembling in his arms still, sniffling. He wished the other could talk to him about how he felt but it wasn't possible.

"Nu nu nu nu," Namjoon said quietly, trying to calm him down. He slightly pulled away and caressed his cheek, wiping down the tears. Then Jin buried his face in his neck.

It got quiet in the tent. The only source of light was a torch in the middle, which was drawing pictures on their tan skin. Namjoon's hand stopped moving, Jin stopped crying. The realisation of how close they were hit them and their hearts weren't beating fast because of fear anymore.

Jin pulled away and looked into the latter's eyes. They gazed at each other but then Namjoon's ones began to fall on his lips, which caused the latter to blush. They were still a little red from the strawberry he had been eating earlier.

Namjoon suddenly pulled away and Jin breathed out the air he hadn't realised he had been holding for so long. He closed his eyes, biting his lip, contemplating his feelings and what had happened a second ago. He hated himself for wanting to feel the giant's lips on his, to breathe in Namjoon's scent again, to be in his strong arms again. He knew it was wrong. They were both from different planets, they didn't even share a language. And Jin was married to a human, to a man he (had) loved dearly. He wasn't supposed to feel that way.

But the spark was there. He felt it in his whole body. It was stronger than his bond with his husband, who was on a ship somewhere in the universe. Who knew if he ever saw him again?

When he opened his eyes after a few seconds, Namjoon put the basket he had saved together with Jin between them. The shorter looked at it, surprised, as the taller took a blueberry (in size of an apple) and put it into the latter's mouth. The chewed on it as Namjoon took a raspberry and ate it himself, taking the green top off from another fruit. When Jin swallowed, his mouth became full with another strawberry, which again was put there by the latter. His thoughts about his husband, about the wrongness of the situation, about anything else really were gone.

He also took the iniciative and began to feed the latter. They both smiled, eating fruit from the basket.

Jin giggled as he saw the strawberry water running down Namjoon's chin. He wiped it with his hand, his thumb gently caressing the latter's bottom lip. As he realized what he was doing, his smile disappeared and he averted his eyes. He put his hand down, the relaxed atmosphere thickening again. Namjoon was watching him quietly as Jin didn't take another fruit and didn't feed the latter again.
