Chapter 3: The Village

We approach the entrance to the village

"Thank you for your tireless work keeping us safe, my good guardsmen!" Laventon said before turning to me

"This young man was of great assistance to me
and my Pokémon, so I hope you'll forgive my bringing him into the village for a bit!" He said

Then the guard nodded then we entered the village

" this way, if you please!" Laventon said before walking off

Now as we walked he was talking about some stuff I didn't catch all of it but I got the bases.
Also some people were talking about me but I didn't really listen

But then Laventon stopped

"Oh botheration! I'd almost forgotten!" He said before turning around

"I need to go and report that we successfully
recovered the escaped Pokémon! Might I ask you to wait for me at the canteen?" He said before pointing to a building across the bridge

"It's just past this bridge here, then to the left
The Wallflower, it's called!" He said before running off

Then my Arc Phone started to beep, I took it out and look at the screen, on it was a map of the village somehow it was showing me where I needed to go next. So I ran over to the Wallflower in front was a man with a green mustache

"Well now, aren't you awfully suspicious?" He asked

"The Wallflower's for Galaxy Team folk only.
We don't have seats for outsiders. Move along!"
He shouted before entering The Wallflower

Then a girl came up to me and asked "Who are you? I've never seen anyone dressed like you are." She said

I turned

"What if you were attacked by a Pokémon?
u'd be minced meat in those flimsy clothes! If the guard let you through, you must have ties
with somebody in the village.... Perhaps you've met Professor Laventon?

He's a scholar from a faraway place. His Pokemon do get away from him at times, though. It makes me a bit worried for him... I suppose I'm hardly one to talk--I've had some trouble with Pokémon myself.

I was hit by a Pokémon move called Thunder Shock not long ago and had to take to my bed." She said

' wait Pokémon attack humans here? That's not good if I get hit too hard my illusion could break and then I could be exposed!'

"But the professor...well... I do wonder how long he'll last." She said before I heard a familiar voice

"Unfortunately it's just as Akari says... I'm a clumsy sort of fellow, to put it mildly!" Laventon said as he snuck up on the girl who I now know is Akari

"Professor!" Akari said

"But everything will be quite all right now!" He said as he is he went over to me

"Y/N here has agreed to help us with
our Pokédex!" Laventon said

"Excuse me? You plan to appoint him to the
Survey Corps? You can't just slap a badge on whoever you like without Captain Cyllene's permission!" She said

" I'll allow it" A new voice said

We turned to the sound of the voice to see a lady Who I can only assume is captain Cyllene walking towards us

"Captain Cyllene?!" Akari said

"Assuming the individual can contribute to the
Survey Corps, that is. I am the captain of the Galaxy Team's Survey Corps. You may call me Cyllene.
