The next few days each of my teachers came and explained how lucky I was to be her friend and how sorry they were about my loss. Surprisingly, my BOSS came too.

Juno and I took walks every now and then, in the morning through the misty landscape. I was so amazed by how he could blend in so well with the mist. He loved to play and chase a ball around the house. Each month I have to get him a new rope toy to play Tug-Of- War with, because he would always chew it until it's remains were scatttered around the house in thin pieces of rope.

I soon discovered that he doesn't do well with other dogs... especially with small dogs. That's really to bad because just the other day, I was walking him on a trail near a creek and this little terrier walks past us. I was going to ask if I could pet him, but NO. I also found out that he NEEDS to be on a leash at all times, when outside. He will run alover the country if he runs out.

One day I was walking torwards some of my neighborshorses to take some cool pics, and I thought I would give it a try. So I tied him uo to a nearby tree and turned my back on him. I turned around like, 3 times before I noticed he was gone. He had chewed through the leash. I heard the blood roaring in my ears. I saw him running down the driveway, about to cross the road.

"JUNO!!!" I yelled, "COME BACK!!!"

To my surprise he had stopped, oddly looking both ways until no cars were coming. Like a civilized person he slowly and cautiously crossed the road. I stopped, amazed by what I had just wittenest. My paced slowed, and I didn't really notice that he was STILL running and almost at of my sight. Only a speck of dust in the horizon.
