Chapter Seven

I cannot believe Angie was sitting next to Lea, but where was Ren. I looked around and couldn't find him. I took in a big breath and walked towards the table. I was about two feet away when Angie looked up, "What're you doing here?" she asked. "I'm supposed to be meeting Ren. Where is he?" "He went to use the bathroom, I just happened to be here, so I'm watching her real quick until he gets back." I didn't have any words. Luckily I saw Ren walking back from the bathroom.

"Ri, hi," Ren said with a warm smile. He turned to Angie, "Thanks for watching her," he said awkwardly. "Lea say good-bye to Mommy." Lea stood up and went to hug her. For the first time ever, I saw heartbreak in Angie's eyes. "Bye Lea, I'll see you next week okay?" Lea nodded and watched as Angie left.

"I'm sorry about that awkward moment. She was leaving as we came in. So I let her visit Lea for a little bit," Ren said with an apologetic face. I smiled up at him, "Hey she is her mom of course. No harm." "Angie is really only allowed to see her once a week and if I'm present. I made an exception for this one time, I really had to go to the bathroom..haha," Ren said. He bent down to be at Lea's height. "Lea, I want you to meet someone really important to daddy, so you be nice okay?" He said in a dad voice. It was adorable. She nodded and looked up at me, I bent down to her level just like Ren. "Hi Lea, my name is Ri," I said holding out my hand. Lea took my hand and smiled, "Hi," she said in a small voice.

I smiled, "Your daddy tells me you really like taffy?"

She nodded, "I really like grape flavored." I laughed, "Well, lucky for you I happen to have a bag full of grape taffy. Do you want to share with me?" A wide smile came to her face and excitedly shook her head yes.

It was nearly 9:30 by the time we left the park. Ren was gently carrying Lea in his arms to his car. He put her in her car seat and quietly closed the car door. He turned to me and said, "Today was a really great day. I'm glad you came." I smiled at him, "So am I. To be honest. I really was nervous. I didn't know what to expect. But she is the most precious little girl I have ever met." He laughed, "She is pretty darn cute. But really thank you. I really think she likes you. I really do." My heart started to flutter. "I'm happy I came. I'd like to spend more time with her, if that's okay?" "You name place and time and we'll be there. I should probably be getting her home so she can sleep peacefully. I'll text you later." I nodded, but before I could turn away, Ren grabbed me and gently kissed me. Now my heart was really racing. When we pulled away, I couldn't help but blush. "I'll text you....bye." I quickly walked to my car and got in. Hoping he wouldn't notice my reaction.

As soon as I arrived home I had to text Alyson.

OMG OMG OMG

What what what?!

...he kissed me *face turns bright red*

I'm sorry he what?! :D OMG OMG OMG CALL ME NOW!!!

So I did, I quickly selected her name and called her as fast as I could. "GIVE ME DETAILS!!!" Alyson practically screamed into the phone. I just laughed, "Well first off his daughter...MOST PRECIOUS THING EVER! She is so sweet and adorable, and she has the best manners too. For a three year old of course, but I mean she is just so cute. But we first went to Starbucks where I made sure to have grape taffy, because it's her favorite from what Ren said, and of course he was right, but you'd never guess who I saw," I said finally taking a chance to breathe. "Who?" Alyson asked curiously. "Angie." I heard her gasp over the phone, "SERIOUSLY?!" "Yes, Angie is Lea's mother. She's only allowed to see her once a week and only if Ren is there. But anyways, so we got to the par-" "WHOA WHOA whoa, hold up. LEA IS ANGIE'S DAUGHTER?!" "Yes." "Wow, no wonder she was home schooled for a while. Anyways continue," she said perking up. "So we got to the park and we were there until practically 9:30 just having a blast playing with Lea. Right before I was about to leave, he grabbed me and kissed me, before I could even turn around. I practically melted. " I said sighing. "Wow...that sounds so perfect! God I'm jealous," Alyson said sounding just as engaged in the romance as I was. We talked for another two hours until we both decided that we didn't want to be too tired for our in class essay tomorrow so we both hit the hay.

Hello my lovelies. I have another chapter for you :) I'm really enjoying be able to write again. Getting out of the real world and just creating a movie in my head. I really hope you guys are liking it. I want to be able to have people excited for new chapters and stories. People who support me and love my writing.
