1:10 p.m / lunch

"so, how's your concussion, [y/n]? we were all worried about you." kirishima asked while you just played with your food.

"ehh, i mean, it's better. bright lights are still a pain to deal with. it's nothing to worry about too much though guys, im really fine." you put on your brightest smile and they all looked at you skeptically but continued eating.

your eyes scanned around the cafeteria and landed on the same wild, purple hair from the sports festival.

you glared at him for a bit but the longer you stared at him, the more your gaze softened. 'i didn't think i'd have so much fun talking with him last night' you didn't even realized you had zoned out until you finally heard mina shouting your name.

"[y/n]! jeez, what are you even looking at?" her eyes followed the direction yours focused on, "ohh~" mina nudged your shoulder in a teasing way, "i see you have your eyes on the guy who crushed you at the sports fest~" mina smirked and all the guys suddenly seemed more curious.

"what? no! no, no, no mina! no way will i ever like him!" you hit the girl's arm.

she got closer and closer, examining your face, "you're blushing!" she squealed, very loudly. "because it's embarrassing to talk about! jeez." you covered your face with your hands in embarrassment. 'mina can be such a pain sometimes!'

your eyes wandered back to where shinsou was again but this time, he was looking back. you unconsciously blushed and looked the other way, hoping he'd hadn't noticed.

"it's really okay if you like him, [y/n]. we won't judge!" sero gave me a reassuring smile but it didn't help because he was the one you had feelings for. you stood up with both of your hands on the table annoyed, "sero, you're the one i like!" you blurted out, only loud enough that only your table could hear.

you watched as his and the rest of the bakusquad's eyes widened.

you had finally realized what you just did, "shit.." you mumbled. you just slowly sat back down in your seat and ate your food, not looking at or talking with your friends.

before you even knew it, your arm was being pulled, leading you out of the cafeteria.

"[y/n]," it was sero. of course, out of all people. "was ....what you said back there true?" his voice wasn't harsh or loud, but instead he was gentle with you. you slowly nodded your head, trying to avoid looking at him.

"hey, look at me." he lifted your head with his finger, you made eye contact with him and he smiled. "i like you too." he said and his lips met with yours. the two of you shared a long kiss, one that wasn't rushed but was genuine.

you were interrupted as the bell rung.

"hey, [n/n]. why don't we walk to class together?" he looked into your eyes with the most sweetest smile you've ever seen and could feel yourself blush. "yeah, sure." you began walking with him, side by side, hand in hand.

"so does this mean we're dating?" you asked. he kissed your cheek in reply, "of course."
