When the Sun melts the ice

10. winter wonderland

The snow was glistening and coated the once vibrant green layer of grass with a white, chilling layer. It looked like something out of the movies, that was until the two older boys wrecked the snow by building snow men, having a snowball fight and making snow angels.

"YAH, KIM SUNOO YOU HIT MY PRECIOUS FACE" sunghoon yelled as the younger had managed to throw a snowball right into his face.

The younger ran over rapidly with a rush of worry on his face.

"I am so sorry Hoonie, I really did not mean too. I was aiming for your butt but you turned around" he giggled before giving the older a hug to accept his apology.

Sunghoon gave in to the cute younger who was no wrapped around his body, engulfing him in a hug.

They stayed in that position for what may have felt like an eternity although it was more like a couple minutes. Both boys were feeling flustered after that moment as their cheeks were covered in various shades of red from the cold and possibly the sparks they felt just then.

"Come on Hoon, lets go make snow angels" sunoo said in order to break the awkward silence.

They ran too a spot that had not yet been destroyed and lay down making there snow angels. Their hands slightly brushed against each other as they were doing so due the lack of space but neither boys minded.

The coldness of the snow was starting to get to the boys who were now exhausted from their fun. They decided to go inside and wrap up warm whilst Sunoo's mum made them some hot cups of hot chocolate.

"That was really fun today Sunoo. Thank you for, I don't know? Being there for me, through my hardest days even though we only met a few days ago." Sunghoon suddenly said before yawning.

"Yah, look at you being all soppy. It's okay Hoon, your my friend and that's what we do for each other." He replied whilst a smile grew on his face radiating warmth. "Anyway shall we do a little bit more studying before we both crash officially and watch a movie?" Sunoo asked hopeful.

"Yeah, I'd like that a lot" the older replied.

The two boys grabbed their books and helped each other out with various maths equations and formulas whilst also memorising all the chemistry terminology they'd need to know for their exam.

A couple hours went by and they had learnt everything they set out to learn that day and more.

"You know Park. We actually are so good together." Sunghoon blushed which went noticed by the younger. "I meant working together Hoonie." Causing the older boy to blush harder knowing Sunoo knew what he was thinking.

Sunghoon rolled his eyes and played it cool.
"Actually Sunoo, I was wondering if tomorrow after we do some more study, we could go to the ice skating rink?" He asked.

"Wow that is so romantic" he giggled (which Sunghoon found absolutely adorable) "of course Hoon, but just a warning I can not skate at all." He replied.

"Well lucky for you, I am a trained figure skater and I will teach you." He smiles whilst gazing into the younger eyes.

"Okay. Sounds fun! So what film shall we watch tonight?" The younger asked.

"Hmmm... how about the grinch? I mean it is nearly Christmas after all." The raven haired replied.

"Okay fine, wow you really like films like these don't you Park." The younger teased.

"Don't disrespect my amazing taste in movies Kim." He responded rolling his eyes.

"Whatever. I'll go make some popcorn and drinks, you sit there and look cute or whatever" sunoo smirked before going off to make the snacks and leaving Sunghoon absolutely head over heels for the pink haired boy now.

The younger boy returned quickly with popcorn and more hot chocolate but this time with marshmallows and whipped cream. They put on the film and were snuggled up under a blanket because it was extremely cold. As the movie went on into the night the pink haired boy was noticeably getting more and more tired before he eventually crashed and lay his head onto the older boys chest. He was so enchanted by the youngers alluring features and decided to admire him instead of focusing on the movie.

The movie ended and the older boy was flustered over how he spent majority of the time staring at the younger boy. He shook Sunoo gently, who fluttered his eyes open and got up carefully. The two went to Sunoo's room and got into his bed before resting. Sunoo's head was perched in the crook of the older's neck who was hugging him whilst they slept. It was a peaceful feeling for Sunghoon, having the boy in his arms whilst he slept so calmly. It had been years since he was able to fall asleep with so much ease after living with his dad who always made a racket during the night. He wished he could be together in this position with Sunoo always.
