"I'm sorry Mfan don't shoot, BeeKay kao khopela (please)" I cried as he held a gun in my face "this isn't how things were supposed to end, we've come a long way mfan for you just to take my life like this". "The same way you took my brothers life" He said, I stood there shooked without any response and went on my knees and started crying on my hands "But it was a mistake Beekay He wasn't supposed to die that day, that shot wasn't meant for him mfan nekere ke shapa legata lele mfan khanti ka bate ke shapile Taozen (I wanted to shoot the police but instead I shot Taozen). But I tried to save him that day I took him to the hospital" I said, "You mean left him for dead a the hospital MO LEBATING, MO LEBATING JOH (AT THE DOOR, AT THE DOOR BRUH)" He shouted as he lowered the gun and started crying with me, I held him to my chest and gave him a hug as he pushed and punched me but that didn't matter he just spared my life. He is my brother after all, we have been friends for more than 10 years and he has been by my side since. I understand why he wanted to kill me I would've done the same too if I found out he was responsible for my sisters death.
"Sgija, Sgija Yoh Dankiie modimo osa phela ( Thank God you still alive)" I heard my girl scream as she came running towards me and Beekay. "Yoh BeeKay bathong Dankiie awa mosata(Thank you for not killing him)" she said as she hugged him and cried with him. "Areyeng gae mama o remetse kontlong( Let's go home mommy is waiting for us at my house)" she said as I took Beekay by the hand and walked to the car hand in hand apologising to each other. The drive home was a long silent one, we saw Mama standing outside the door when she heard the gate open, "Yoh Bana baka ba phela kaofela (My children are all alive)" She said as she jumped up and down crying and kissing the air. BeeKay went out of the car straight to Mama's arms as he started crying again, " I'm sorry Ma sorry for ira dilo kesa nagane, flop ke tsere ke pelo mama nekesare kao tella ( Sorry for not thinking before taking action, I acted rationally I didn't mean to disrespect you)" He said as Mama hugged him with a smile on her face, "Ho lokile ngwanaka lenna ke irile phoso kao fihlela thaba tsa Thato( It's Okay, my child I also made the mistake of keeping the news about your brother a secret)" She said as we headed inside the house.
