November 2017, Yuri

"Yurochka! It's time for school!" I hear Dedushka call from downstairs, "Victor is already here!"

"Coming!" I called as I pulled my hoodie on

Hey! I'm Yuri Plisetsky. I'm 14 and in my final year of middle school. I have two friends Victor, a junior in high school, but he comes by for breakfast most days, and Trevor, who's in my class. We go way back. As I turned the corner, I saw Victor sitting at the table eating breakfast not an unusual thing, he does live next door

"Morning!" Vic said cheerily "Coffee?"

"Sure! I love when you bring coffee!" I exclaimed as I sat down.

"Well it's time I go. School is waiting, speaking of which Yuri hurry up before you miss your bus." Victor said before

"Don't worry I got this all timed out, I'll get there just as the bus does," I said before stuffing bacon in my face in five minutes Trevor was gonna text me to tell me the bus passed our predetermined spot to signal it's time for me to head out. Ping. Oh looks like the bus is running early today

"See you Dedushka!" I called out as I stepped outside the house and broke into a light jog. The stop was a little way down the road about a five-minute walk but only three minutes jog those two minutes can be the difference between missing the bus or not quickly the red sign came into view

"Safe" I muttered as I joined the three other kids at the stop. As I turned my head, sure enough, it was turning the corner now. Perfectly timed as always Trev. As I stepped on the bus I could see him at our usual seat. Trevor had yet to hit his growth spurt. Because of this, he was fairly small his black hair contrasted with his pale skin that was covered in freckles, but made his blue eyes pop behind his round glasses.

"Morning Trev, how was your show last night?"

"It was so good! I only wish the rest was out! It's about these animals going to school, the main character is in the theater club and recently a club member of his was killed viciously and some of the club members think it was him when it wasn't. And then there Haru the bunny her classes are currently shunning her cause some guy who was dating a popular girl tried to kiss her and now the girl is angry with her and it's all so frustrating can't wait till I see the rest!"

"Sounds interesting" I replied as the bud rolled down the roll "Hey you remembered your uniform for gym right?"

"Yes actually! If you didn't remind me last night I would've been a goner!"

"Honestly Trev you're such an airhead sometimes, at least you did your homework right?" I said before I saw Trev freeze. "Oh I see."

"Would you be mad if I asked to borrow yours?" Trevor ask twirling his bangs nervously as I shuffled through my backpack

"Here" I sighed, whacking him in the head lightly with the folder I keep my homework in.

"Thanks.." Trevor said sheepishly before copying things down seemingly at auctioneer talking speed. Soon enough we arrived at school and headed to class, first up with gym, Trevor is lucky it gives him more time to finish his homework. But that also means.. Gym class.. At 8 in the morning..

"Ugh... too tired for this shit.." I mumbled as I waited for Trevor to finish changing, luckily today was a free day for the most part, all the girls in our class went outside to play jump rope or something I don't know. Suddenly I felt a ball hit me in the shoulder nearly knocking me over

"Hey! Didn't you see all the girls went outside? You should go with them." called out a voice. I turned around and glared.. JJ of course, it's him

"I mean if I was a girl I'd go outside too better than being in the same room as you. Then again I'm not the one who matches their earrings to my shoes. Maybe you should go join them JJ." I Sneered
