Third Person POV

The sea is your home.

May it be Earth, another planet, or the realm of the Deities. The sea will always speak for you. Sometimes it's not pleasant, but it always shows you that it will always be with you. That it'll protect you.

It's the same for all sea creatures, but you. You had a different way of thinking.

Although you loved it, you always wanted to meet a land mortal, here on Earth. It's not always they pass around these parts of the Northern sea with their water vehicles, mostly seen in the South, West and East. The North was exceptionally cold, it was not for them.

Suddenly, your senses alerted you of danger in the Isle of snow clams. There were extraordinary pearls there so you supposed some sea creatures may be trying to steal them.

Krakens or Dark Sirenas mostly. Or ordinary creatures filled with greed.

You swam right there as fast as you could, it was not your duty to stop evil sea creatures, but you couldn't help but run into danger as soon as it emerged.

Arriving, you hid behind a clam and peeked to see who was causing commotion.

It was a land mortal!

You quickly hid again. This was your first time seeing one, and yet it scared you. What was it doing so deep under the water. With no attire whatsoever. In such a cold place.

You peeked up again, it seemed to be wanting something from one of the clams. Greed piked these creature's interest. It wasn't much of a surprise. But to see it down here for just a measly pearl. Ti's dangerous.

"Come on Mr Big Clamy! I just want to split apart with my buddy! You damn clam!" it quickly shouted. You noticed now that it had a bubble around its neck, giving it the ability to breathe underwater.

It was so strange.

Wait! What are you speaking of? You've seen land creatures all over Divinity when they visit frosted ports. This is no different. But mortals are so....strange at the very same time.
To think we know about their existence but they do not.

"Damn this bubble won't last forever!" it swam up to the surface. You felt your heart beat faster. That was very scary!

After clearing up your mind, you swam right next to the clam that land mortal was beside. You found a navigator on the sand and quickly picked it up, it had and orange ball blinking. You realised what it was looking for was inside the clam.

What if you get it for them?

No that was insane! But insane was part of your system!
You touched the clam and it instantly opened up for you. It was a Sirena trait.

Soon enough you were close to the surface and popped your head out to see the land mortal. Indeed it was there, laying on the ice. Was it dead?

You panicked and swam right there. Getting on thr ice you placed the navigator and the orange pearl on the ice, making sure it won't roll off.
You were afraid but you had to see if it was alright. After all it was a being.

"Hey...hey...land creature!" you said loudly looking at its face. It was honestly quite handsome. There was no difference from it with normal Deities, it's just the thought that it is a mortal. Which might not know of supernatural creatures.

"Ugh...." it groaned and you got startled, quickly slid back to the water. "Huh who was that."

You peeked up once again but this time you met with the eyes of the land mortal.

"Y-you're a mermaid!" it seemed more startled than yourself. Having you feel that it was not at the very least dangerous.

"I'm a Sirena"

"You can talk?!"

"Of course..." you felt a bit offended but you had assumed things about it as well. You got out of the water and sat at the edge of the ice.

"Can you cover yourself up a little!"

"Why? Is my body bothering you!"

"No its just your boobs are showing," you yelped and got back to the water to hide you upper body.

"You pervet!"

"You shouldn't go around naked!"

"It's how I am, I don't need clothes in the water! How about you"

"Same as you! '

" Well anyway I got what you were looking for. That pearl," you pointed at the orange pearl with two red stars. It looked at it and back at you.

"Thank you. What's your name?"

"Y/n"

"I'm Vegito. A combination of Goku and Vegeta"

"A fusion!"

"Yes"

"I didn't think mortals were capable of such a technique. But of course you used Potaras," you said slyly. "That's why you want that pearl right?"

"It's a dragon ball"

"Ryu?"

"Yah. Anyway we gotta go! See you later!"

"See... You later," your fins beamed with delight. You had met a land mortal at last, and it was so nice. Well a little.

It would be quite a weird friendship. Tails along Legs.
