The shift to the demon realm had the light tingle in my body changing into a buzzing current like a thousand angry wasps. I wonder if they even knew? They hadn't given any indication that they knew. My feet burrowed into the grass again before I sighed and put my shoes back on and made my way to the dining room. I wasn't a defenceless little girl like the rest of them.
' do you know someone called Shane?'
I asked, the three at the men tensed slightly before continuing their meal.
' how do you know Shane?' Silas asked eyebrows arched, shock lighting his pupils.
' oh good you do know him, he'll be joining us for dinner' I told him, ignoring his question as said person walked through the dining room doors with a smirk on his face. Ignoring the three men altogether he sauntered over and placed a kiss on my cheek
' darling'. Smiling coyly at him I gestured at the table for him to sit. The three men know frowned openly at us.
' what is he doing here?' Aziel glared at him, his plate of food completely abandoned as he fisted his hands. Aziel focused his glare at me as he stood, knocking his chair back.
' have you forgotten your place?' He fumed at me. Why does he look so confused? Shane asked me. Shane placed his feet on the table mud falling from his boot onto the table. His lips hadn't moved from their slight smug smirk gracing his face.
Because they don't know what I can do
At my thoughts Shane cracked a amused laugh clapping his hands once as the three men looked on confused and angry.
' how do you know shane?' Grey asked with an uneasy look.
' wouldn't you like to know' I smiled at him.
'What exactly is happening here?' He replied stone faced.
' what's going on is that you bought a witch' Shane stated at the three idiots. Silas and grey frowned at Shane's words seeming not to realise their mistake and the threat now in the room.
' oh please, the human could barely hold a shield around her mind. Just some crap human magic, nothing significant'. He scoffed sitting back down and cutting his steak and aggressively taking a bite.
'A shaky shield, doesn't sound like you' Shane enquired. I could feel his arched eyebrow.
I scoffed. 'Sorry I was little preoccupied being sold into slavery'
Still, I taught you better. Does he know your magic has stronger here? He asked.
No , otherwise he wouldn't have bought me here. I stated.
'Let's test that theory darling' Shane said abruptly causing grey and silas to  bristle at his seemingly random words.
What's my options? I asked Shane amused that they still hadn't realised I could communicate telepathically.
Shaned smiled at the three men openly ' lover boy , Mr know it all and hot head' he said tilting his head at aziel. Aziel seemed to have put the pieces together because he again rose from his seat and begun folding his sleeves up.
' human magic isn't going to beat me little girl'. I smirked up at him rising from my own seat. I saw exactly when he caught the aminosity on my face. His pupils dialting ever so slightly and is shoulders straightening as his body responded to his fight instinct. I let the energy swarming my viens leak from me ever so slightly. The energy of the realm instantly responding, a sharp wind picking up inside the room causing the glasses on the table to topple spilling wine. Aziel eyes narrowed as he glared at me and I watched fascinated as I saw and felt his shield of protection gather around him. I was sure my smile looked borderline creepy but glee took hold as I laughed at his shock and let the stinging of back pricking the insides of my blood go. Every blood cell bursting and my body consumed with it. My arms shot to the side as the static electricity residue caused my hair to stick around me like a halo.
I felt like energy shoot forward , connected like string to my body as it pierced his shields with ease and sunk into his skin like bullets lodged and deadly. I felt my magic twist and burrow in before slinking back to my body sated and fat on revenge. Aziel eyes were shiny like marbles and unseeing like death. Five perfect round holes decorated his chest black smoke drifting from them carrying the scent of burning flesh. Silas and grey stared open mouthed and gaping at me before jumping up and rushing to aziel.
' you'll feel the wrath of a thousand women like me and a thousand before me'
