[Rebecca's POV]
Lizzy was holding my hand as we were standing at my doorstep. My home. Well, my parents now I guess. It was early in the morning and Lizzy was so tired. I woudn't blame her, so was I. I had knocked a couple of times and I saw my parents room light go on.
I knocked once more, and then my mom opened the door.
"Rebecca?" she looked to my side. "Lizzy?"
"Mommy!" Lizzy smiled running to her leg.
My mom bent down and hugged her while looking up at me. "Why are you here at three in the morning?"
I rocked on the back of my feet. "Something happened." I sniffled.
"Rebecca, were you crying?" She asked standing up with Lizzy already falling asleep on her shoulder.
"I haven't stopped." I said with a lip quiver and my eyes watering.
"Oh, baby get over here." She said holding out her free arm. I ran right into it crying.
"Oh, baby." She cooed while stroking my head with her free hand. "What happened?"
"Your brother happened." I mumbled into her shoulder.
"What did Simon do?" She asked with sudden anger.
"My dream is gone mom. It's over." I cried.
"You're not making any sense." She said pulling me away.
I just had tears down my face. "Take your sister upstairs to bed, go into my room kick your dad out, and then take a bubble bath in my washroom. I'll be up there after I call Simon." She said kissing my head and handing me Lizzy.
I nodded and took Lizzy upstairs. I walked into her room and placed her on the bed kissing her forehead. "Night."
"Night night." She yawned and rolled over clutching her teddy bear.
I smiled at the sight of her. I backed out of her room and went across the hallway into my dad and mom's room.
"Simon, who gave you the right?" I heard my mom's faint voice from downstairs.
I opened their bedroom door. I walked in and saw my dad move. "Dad?"
He rustled around and opened his eyes. "Becca?"
"Yeah," I said sitting on the bed across from him.
He sat up. "What's wrong?"
I let a tear slip. "Everything."
He pulled me into a hug and said. "It's going to be okay." he rubbed my back. Even though he didn't know anything.
My parents were always good when it came to comfort. "Mom told me to kick you out."
He fake gasped and pulled me away. "She did now?"
I nodded and tried not to smile. "Mother daughter talk?" He questioned.
I nodded.
He sighed dramatically and got up grabbing his pillow. "Now you see why I bought you that comfortable full size bed, don't you?" he smiled at me.
I giggled. "Ah, there it is." he winked.
"Goodnight, dad." I smiled through the tears.
He began to walk out, but turned around the last minute. "Oh, Becca?"
I turned facing him in the doorway. "If it has anything to do with that Harry kid, trust me from the moment he stepped into this house I promised myself i'd hurt him if he hurt you." He said.
