Chapter 2| awake

No one's POV:

"EDDIE!" Dustin screamed in joy as Eddie tried to sit up

Bad decisions. He hissed in pain
"Woah slow down these things got you really bad"

"Dustin? What the fuck happened?" Eddie said trying to understand how he was still alive

~After explaining what happened~

Eddie was in shock knowing that he nearly died and the kid had to literally save him

He still couldn't really move due the pain so he decided to just try to relax his body

"What about the others? What happened to them?" Eddie asked barley over a whisper because of his injuries

(Btw this is after the attempt to kill Vecna and the talk Dustin had to his uncle(just that instead he told him that Eddie was fine for now but can't get out of his hiding spot) so all of them know that max is in coma)

"Well mostly them seem fine and are just injured.." Dustin answered trailing off at the memory of Max

"Most of them?"

"Max is uhh in a coma and she might not make it" He said with his eyes slightly watering but trying to stay positive at the fact that she is not completely dead.
Eddie just starred at him with worry he might not have known Max that well like they did but she seemed like a good person and since she was their friend he ofc felt bad.

That's when Eddie stood up ignoring the pain and slowly humbled(?) to Dustin pulling him into a hug who ofc returned it slightly tearing up out of sadness because of Max but also if happiness because Eddie is ok and he is save(kind of).

While they were hugging the others came in.

"Uhhh Dustin we might have a problem-" Steve said but cut himself off after seeing Eddie and starred at him

Nancy then also came in and tried to explain the situation outside

They then runned outside (or walking as fast as they could because of the injuries) to see what was happening outside
