With Vinnie and her boyfriend Valentine. They were laughing and drinking blood in a tea cup.
I furrowed my brows. The last time Vinnie visited was a while ago.
Why did she come back home?
Why did she have to bring her boyfriend?
Why was she really here?
I kepted asking myself these questions. Vinnie would have never come home unless she needed something or someone.
I was so focused on what I was thinking that I didn't notice Mother and father telling me to say hi.
I quickly collected myself and put on a fake smile. I knew something was wrong I could feel it. but I act like I knew something was wrong.
"Hello Vinnie! I missed you so much" I exclaimed. "Why hello sister, how have you been?" She asked as she gave me a quick hug. "Oh, I've been fine thanks for asking" I replied. "You still friends with that dead boyfriend of yours? Zevon was it?" she asked. "He is not my boyfriend and his name is Zed" I said.
"Right, anyhow I would like you to meet my fiance Valentine" Vinnie said gesturing us to him.
"Hello everyone" he said smoothly. Vinnie ran towards him and hugged him while kissing and giggles.
"Isn't he amazing?"Vinnie asked to no one in particular. "I'm sure he is" father said. "A man who is going to become family sure as hell better be amazing"
Everyone was chatting with Valentine and Vinnie about there engagement. But I wasn't sure if that was why they were here.
You see when Vinnie left she said these words to us: "I shall never return to this wretched family!"
Those words have suck with me ever since and now she has retired to her so called 'wretched family'.
Well whatever Vinnie and Valentine have planned I'll be there to stop it.
No matter what.
