Resting in the Lord

Me: But Lord, why would they bother with me? The war is over.
Lord: The war against evil is won, but it's never over.
Me: These last few years were brutal. I can't take anymore. I need a break!
Lord: You will get it, but when I call-
Me: I can't! I can't take anymore!

Lord: With Me, all things are possible.
Me: Haven't I done enough?! Why can't you leave me alone?!

Lord: Because I will never leave nor forsake you. I love you too much to leave you.
Me: But why? I'm nothing special!

Lord: You're wrong. You're My creation, so you're invaluable to Me. You are worth more than all the money in the world to Me.
Me: So what do you want from me now?
Lord: I want you to rest with BoA and her people. I will call you when I have a task for you.
Me: Yes, Lord.

With a heavy sigh, I gather up a few things, pack them, and head out. Taking the path through Point Dume, I press the hidden button. As I arrive back in the underground kingdom, I'm greeted by BoA.

BoA: Welcome back to Ko, Andrew. What brings you here?
Me: The Lord told me to rest with you and your people until He calls me to my next task.

BoA: Very well. Right this way.

Following her to the area with all the bed chambers, I'm trying to get my thoughts together. So engrossed am I in my thoughts that I accidentally bump into BoA, who I hadn't realized had stopped walking.

Me: S-sorry.
BoA: It's okay, Andrew. I know you have a lot on your mind.
Me: So why did we stop?
BoA: Look.

I look up where she's pointing, and my jaw drops. What I see in front of me blows my mind. BoA grabs my hand, but I pull it away.

BoA: I'm just trying to guide you.
Andrew: I'm good, thanks. Lead the way, please.
BoA: Very well.

I follow her in, and as we enter the chamber, she gestures me to the bed.

BoA: I'll let you get some rest and will come get you at dinnertime.

Me: Thank you.

BoA: Of course.

As she exits the chamber, I flop onto the bed and fall asleep almost immediately.

+Rose is walking up to me. As she gets to me, she kisses me passionately. When I pull away, it is suddenly BoA, and I stumble back.

Me: B-Boa?!
BoA: What? It's me. It's Rose.

Her face changes back to Rose's face.

Rose: Babe, it's me. I miss you so much. I need to see you again.

Me: But you're in another country altogether.

Rose: Well, I'm doing a tour with the girls soon, and we will be having shows in the U.S.

Me: What?! When?
Rose: I can't say when, but just know that it will be soon.

Me: Why are you telling me this?
Rose: Because I want you to be there.
Me: I'll keep an eye out.
Rose: Okay. I love you, Andrew.

Me: I love you, too.

Suddenly, Rose's face turns back into BoA's.

BoA: Andrew, wake up.

Me: Huh?
BoA: Wake up! WAKE UP!+

I jolt awake, and my lips accidentally hit something soft. When my vision clears, I see a face right there and jerk back in shock.

Me: BoA?!

BoA: Hey, Andrew, dinner is ready.

Me: Why was your face so close to mine?
BoA: Because I was trying to get closer to wake you up.

Me: Well, my lips pressed against yours accidentally.
BoA: Your lips are pretty soft, I must admit.

Me: I have a girlfriend, BoA.
BoA: That doesn't negate the truth.

Me: Please exit my chamber, BoA. I'll be out in a moment.
BoA: Fine. But I will say that you really seem to have been having a really good dream.

Me: Yeah? Why do you say that?

She glances down, and I follow her glance. Covering myself up quickly, I feel my face going warm.

Me: Get out.

BoA: Well-endowed, aren't you?

Me: OUT!
BoA: Fine.

She finally exits my chamber, and I heave a deep sigh in exasperation. Getting up, I wash up and get dressed. Then I take another deep breath and walk outside. BoA walks up and bows.

BoA: I'm so sorry. I let my feelings take over without being mindful of your own feelings.

Me: It's okay. Just don't do it again please.

Suddenly, a disturbing image floods my mind, but it leaves just as quickly. My knees buckle, and I fall to my knees. BoA kneels next to me, a worried look on her face.

BoA: Andrew, what happened?!

Me: I... I have to go to South Korea. There's something I have to check on.

BoA: Are you sure?
Me: Yes. I have to. I'll see you again soon.

BoA: Let me go with you.

Me: I don't know if that's a good idea.

BoA: You're gonna need someone who knows South Korea.

Me: I can find a guide.

BoA: Please.
Me: Why do you wanna go with me so badly?
BoA: To guide you around. I mean, I wouldn't charge you.

Me: Fine.

BoA: Awesome. Let me pack.

Me: Rendezvous at the entrance in ten minutes.

BoA: Okay.

She walks off to pack. I've got a bad feeling about this trip...
