2020, Senior Highschool
Seonwoo glares at the cracked cement as he endure the annoying sound of Riki's laugh from behind.
“Yah, why not help instead of laughing?” Jungwon smacked the younger's arms before he kneeled dow to pick up the papers that went up flying everywhere after Seonwoo tripped.
Seonwoo also kneeled down to pick up the papers while Riki continued laughing.
“I just now realize that you tripped on this same cracked cement every single day,” Riki laughs.
“Do you find it that funny?” Seonwoo asked, already annoyed.
“Yeah,” Riki nods, “Maybe you're destined to kiss this flo—”
Riki stopped talking as papers flew towards his face. He caught Seonwoo glaring from below. He then knew a fight would start if he didn't stop, so he kneeled down and started helping. Yet, still with a teasing smile plastered all over his face.
Of course, he plans to help picking up the papers. However, the sudden realization really cracked him up. Besides, these papers are the reviewers he made for Jungwon and Seonwoo.
“If we lost one page you're gonna redo all of these,” Seonwoo threatened.
Riki only shrugged. He had a copy of this on his laptop. He was a year younger so he could also make use of these next year. Although he doesn't need these anymore because, hey, Riki's smart.

Jungwon jumps in excitement after he heard his final score. He passed English!
“Ugh,” Seonwoo sigh in disappointment.
His name isn't called in front which means he got a failing grade, yet again.
“Aw, don't worry Sunoo, I'm sure Riki will help you pass the remedial test,” Jungwon side-hugged his friend.
Another sigh left Seonwoo's lips.
“Right,” Jungwon said as he remembered.
Seonwoo and Riki fought yesterday. It was about something so small which magically becomes so interesting that it ended up in a big fight. Jungwon wasn't there to middle and Riki couldn't stop himself as well.
Although Jungwon cares too much, he couldn't help but laugh at the childish reason of their fight.
“Why did you two fight again?” Jungwon asked.
Seonwoo glared at him.
It was because Riki stole Seonwoo's pencil. That boy had free lunch everyday but still had no money to buy one pencil, he always spend his money on game credits, psh.

“You can do it,” Jungwon encourages as he watch Seonwoo get stressed minutes before the remedial test.
A boy suddenly stopped beside their table. Jungwon looked up and found Riki standing before them.
“What? Are you going to give back my pencil?” Seonwoo asked, raising his eyebrows.
“Yeah, here,” Riki said as he placed a used pencil that is only a finger tall on Seonwoo's opened notes.
“Who needs that anyways? Keep it yours,” Seonwoo rolled his eyes.
“You need that,” Riki said.
Before Jungwon and Seonwoo could react, Riki's fast hand stole Seonwoo's only pen on the desk.
“Yah!” Seonwoo screamed.
“I need this pen, let's exchange,” Riki childishly said before he dashed off the scene.
Seonwoo could only pick up the used pencil that's left and imagine that he's stabbing the younger with it. Not a second later, the bell rings.
“Wait, what...” Seonwoo speaks, he looked around as if he didn't know what to do.
Jungwon quickly checks his bag for an extra pen, but all he have was a pencil with broken lead.
“Yah! You don't have a time. Let's get in the room before Miss Han comes in,” Jungwon exclaimed.
With that, Seonwoo took the remedial test using a pencil that is a finger tall. It doesn't even have an eraser.

“Ma'am, let me help you with that,” A polite student approaches the teacher.
“Thank you,” the teacher said as he gives the test paper to the student.
A sly smile kept hidden behind the student's lips as he look over the names of the papers.
Kim Seonwoo
Kim Seonwoo
The student couldn't help but stifle a laugh when he sees a familiar handwriting, but the paper doesn't have name written on it. He made sure to check all the papers if Kim Seonwoo's name is written, but there's none.
He carefully took out a newly sharpened pencil out of his pocket and secretly wrote Kim Seonwoo's name on the paper. Thankfully, Seonwoo used a pencil.
Thanks to Riki.
He made sure to walk behind the teacher as he peek through the answer and change some of it. Luckily, he wasn't caught in the act.
Until they finally reach the department and the student places the papers down on the tearcher's desk, making sure it is in the same order.
“Thank you again,” the teacher look down on the student's ID that's hanging on his neck, “Yang Jungwon.”
Yang Jungwon only smiled before he bowed down and left the department.
Now, he's sure that Seonwoo will pass the remedial exam.

Seonwoo stood up from his seat when he finally spotted Jungwon walking towards him.
“Where have you been?” Seonwoo asked.
“To the bathroom. How's the exam?” Jungwon sat down on the table, his left hand clinging to his ID.
“I don't know, I just hope I pass,” Seonwoo answered in a low tone.
Jungwon smiled, “I'm sure you'll pass.”
“Yeah, I hope so,” Seonwoo nodded along. “Can we go now? I still have to beat Ni-ki's level.”
“Aren't we waiting for him?” Jungwon asked.
Seonwoo furrowed his eyebrows remembering the state of his newly bought pencil whom Riki stole the other day. Now, it had no eraser left and is only a finger tall.
“I might just stab him with the pencil if I see him, let's go home first,” Seonwoo said annoyed.
Jungwon let out a sigh as he stood up.
“One day you'll thank Ni-ki for that, I guess,” Jungwon murmured.
“What? Thank Ni-ki? Nah, I should be thanking you because you helped me review all the important notes. Thanks for caring, Jungwon.”
Jungwon shook his head but he still smiled.
“Bestfriends care for each other, duh,” Jungwon sassily said before they both walk towards the school gate.
